“And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:12, HRB
In Matthew 24:12, the Bible says that the love of many or a ‘greater number’ will cool off. Is this something that you and I should naturally expect in true Christians because it is happening in the world around us? I speak with a resounding no! Scripture is full of admonition about disciples of Messiah living in brotherhood (2 Corinthians 11:2; Revelation 21:2; Ephesians 1:4, 5:27; Philippians 2:15; Colossians 1:22; 1 Peter 1:18,19; Jude 1:24) and showing the love of Elohim [‘God’, YHWH] , especially to one another. Scripture tells disciples what to do. It is not a grand mystery. Since dedicated disciples are NOT the greater number, our love will not be cooling off regardless of what is happening around us. You will know Elohim’s people by their fruit! Remember that genuine disciples of Messiah are NOT the greater number, but YHWH’s loyal and committed remnant. This remnant is a comparatively few people compared to those around them. (“YHWH’s Promise to His Elect“; “Messiah Teaches about Fruit in the Lives of People“; “Disciple: Are You Bearing Fruit?“; “Holy Spirit 101“; “Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“)
When you look at Matthew 7:13 and Luke 13:24, scripture is clear that a lot of folks that make the claim for Christianity simply aren’t going to ‘cut the mustard’ as far as our Heavenly Father is concerned. Why? They fail to appreciate the need to exercise YHWH’s love consistently in their lives. They are self-absorbed and apathetic about other spiritual brothers and sisters about them. They have forgotten that they must reflect the fruit of the Spirit and they lack a personal relationship with Him. The blood of Yahshua [Jesus] made it all possible for you and me to stand before Him, complete in the provision of the Messiah. (Matthew 5:48, 19:21; Romans 12:22; 1 Corinthians 2:6, 13:10; Philippians 3:12; Romans 8:7-17) What do disciples need? Obedience, love and the consistent demonstration of personal trust! Your Heavenly Father has taken care of the rest! (“Strongholds & the Armor of YHWH“; “Are You an Effective Listener? Listening & Your Relationships“; “Is Your Forgiveness Real?“; “YHWH’s Revolution“)
“But the one who endures to the end, that one will have eternal life.” – Matthew 24:13, HRB
“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
You will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
