Disciples Are Valuable to YHWH

false teachingYHWH promises to separate His obedient disciples from pretenders and secret unbelievers. (Ephesians 5:11; Matthew 13:24-30) The real evidence of belief is the way a disciple acts and continues in faith [belief] as set apart to the Father. Following the instruction to treat everyone that you encounter as if they were Yahshua [Jesus] is no easy task. What you do for and to others demonstrates what you really think about the words of your Messiah: feed the hungry, give the homeless a place to stay, look after the sick. Do your actions separate you from pretenders and unbelievers? Only you really know or can find out! (“Giving to Others While Trusting in YHWH for Your Needs“; “Financial Usury & Bible Truth: Lending, Giving & Borrowing“; “Love Promotes Healthy Giving“)

sheepfold doorYahshua [Jesus] used the illustration of sheep and goats to picture the division between believers and unbelievers. Sheep and goats often grazed together, but were separated when sheep shearing was to take place. (Ezekiel 34:17-24; “Which Shepherd Do You Believe?“; “YHWH’s Threshing Floor“; “Knowing Where You Stand on YHWH’s Threshing Floor“; “The Antichrist & the War on Reality“; “Consenting to Fables of Men“)

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, the blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I hungered, and you gave Me food to eat; I thirsted, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry, and fed You; or thirsting, and gave You drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and took You in; or naked, and clothed You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You?’ And answering, the King will say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, In so far as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.’” [HRB]

prayerMatthew 25:34-40 describes acts of mercy that disciples can do every day. These acts do not depend on wealth, ability or intelligence. Instead, these acts are simple: freely given and freely received. A disciple has no excuse not to care for those that have need. Being personal answerable to your Heavenly Father cannot be handed over to someone else, to an organization, or to a government or government agency. Yahshua [Jesus] states that personal involvement is required to care for the needs of others (Isaiah 58:7-11) Yet, a disciple cannot be saved by deeds of service without Yahshua [Jesus]. Personal faith lacks sincerity when a disciple fails to reach out to others. (“Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“; “Strongholds & the Armor of YHWH“)

Matthew 25:40 has yielded much discussion about the true identity of ‘brothers’. Some have held that ‘brothers’ are Jews. (“Real Trust in YHWH and Caring for Brothers and Sisters“) Others hold that ‘brothers’ refers strictly to Christianity. Still others say our ‘brothers’ are suffering people everywhere. YHWH assigns great value to His people in the brotherhood of Messiah in Matthew 10:29-31:

“Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion [copper coin]? Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Then do not fear; you are better than many sparrows.” [HRB]

mark-of-YHWHs-SpiritYou are so valuable that your Father sent His Son to die for your sins. Earthly threats cannot shake YHWH’s love or dislodge His Spirit from within you. (John 3:16) Because of the spiritual protection that YHWH affords, you never need to fear personal threat or difficult trials. This does not mean that you won’t find yourself going through trials. (Matthew 10:16-20) Instead of taking trials away, YHWH goes through trials with you. The opposition of the Pharisees was like ravening wolves. As a faithful disciple, you should expect trials and hostility. In persecution and opposition, disciples must look to their Shepherd for protection. Disciples are to be sensible and prudent, not gullible pawns. On the side of the matter, disciples are not deceitful connivers. Faithful disciples of Messiah must find a balance between wisdom and vulnerability to accomplish Messiah’s work. Oppression is likely to come from many sources including family and the government, including the legal system. Living for Elohim [‘God’, YHWH] commonly brings about persecution. With that opposition comes the opportunity to tell and demonstrate the message of salvation. Yahshua [Jesus] has overcome the world (John 16:33) and those that stand firm to the end will be saved.  (Matthew 10:22; “YHWH’s Prayer Shawl of Protection“; “YHWH’s Track of Righteousness“)

“But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say. For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.” [NKJV]

Yahshua [Jesus] told disciples that when they were arrested for preaching the Gospel, they must not worry about what to say. The Holy Spirit [Sanctified, Set Apart Spirit] would work through His disciples. (“Christians in the Face of Persecution“) This promise was fulfilled in Acts 4:8-14.

“Then being filled of the Holy Spirit, Peter said to them, ‘Rulers of the people and elders of Israel listen, if we are being examined today on the good work of this sick man, by what this one has been healed, let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Yahshua, Messiah, the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom YAHWEH raised from the dead, in this name this one stands before you whole. This One is the Stone rejected by you the builders, the One who has come to be into the Head of the Corner;

And there is salvation in no other man, for neither is there any other name under Heaven having been given among men by which we must be saved.’ But beholding the boldness of Peter and John, and having perceived that they knew not the books and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized them that they were with Yahshua. But seeing the man standing with them, the one having been healed, they had nothing to say against him. But commanding them to go outside the Sanhedrin, they conferred with one another, saying, ‘What may we do to these men? For that a notable miracle indeed has occurred through them is plain to all those living in Jerusalem, and we are not able to deny it. But that it may not be spread abroad further to the people, let us threaten them with a threat that they no longer speak on this name to any sons of men.’ And calling them, they ordered them not to speak at all, nor to teach in the name of Yahshua.” – Acts 4:8-18, HRB

open-bible-smSome people mistakenly believe that disciples are not required to read the Bible or prepare to present the Gospel because YHWH will take care of everything. (“Redeemed Through Obedience & Faith“; “Disciples: Focused on the Messiah & His Purpose“) Scripture teaches that we are to make carefully prepared thought statements. (Colossians 4:6) Scripture is not telling disciples to stop preparing. Scripture is telling disciples to stop worrying.

“And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.” – Matthew 10:22, NKJV

Standing firm and set apart to the end is not simply a way to be saved, but rather, is evidence that a person is wholly committed. Persistence is not a means to earn salvation, but a by-product of a truly devoted life. (“How YHWH Marks His People“; “The Image & Mark of the Beast System“)

“But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, In no way will you have finished all the cities of the House of Israel until the Son of Man will come. A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above his Master.” – Matthew 10:23-24, HRB

Yahshua [Jesus] does not advocate martyrdom first, but rather continuing to tell others and teach loyally, just like He did. ‘Preach’ the Kingdom, but avoid the effects of oppression and persecution to the best of your ability without sacrificing your stand for Kingdom Truth and Righteousness. (“Mind Filters“; “Are You a Christian First or Last?“; “Disciple: Wavering Between Two Opinions“)

“It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his Master. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?” – Matthew 10:25, HRB

roaring-lionThe devil was known as the “lord of the flies” and “prince of demons”. The Pharisees accused Yahshua [Jesus] of using the devil’s power to drive out demons. In the same way, good is often portrayed as evil by those that fail or refuse to understand righteousness. Yahshua [Jesus] was a perfect man, yet was accused of evil by legalistic religious leaders. Disciples can readily expect similar accusations will be directed at them. Your dedicated stand as a disciple will be vindicated. (Matthew 10:22) Messiah revealed in Matthew 10:29 that YHWH is aware of everything that happens. Even sparrows are valuable to Him. As a disciple, you have much more value as YHWH sent His Son to die for your sins. (John 3:16) Personal fear shows a lack of trust in Elohim. Elohim doesn’t promise to remove trials, but to be with His disciples as they go through threats and difficult trials. The real test of your value is how you hold up under wear, potential of fear and abuse of everyday life. Withstanding trial for Messiah in spite of trouble has lasting value. Your Heavenly Father promises greater rewards. (Matthew 5:11-12; “Leaven of the Pharisees; Leaven of the World“; “Overcoming Satanic Attack“; “Roots of Salvation“)

“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
genuine-articleYou will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
