Who imagined that before the coming of Elohim’s [YHWH, ‘God’] Kingdom that Israel must be reestablished with the Sanhedrin, a recently re-established religious legal institution. This Sanhedrin is a group of 71 Orthodox rabbis and scholars that claim to be a special court for matters dear to Israel. Long ago, this was the namesake that put Yahshua [Jesus] on trial before an illegal Jewish Council of the day. Interestingly, this Jewish Sanhedrin has picked someone else apart from Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah to be their Savior. Chief members of the Sanhedrin have embraced the Islamic idea that their Messiah is the same as the Islamic Mahdi. On A9 TV, Adnan Oktar, an influential Turkish Muslim and book author leads the discussion with Yeshayahu Hollander, a Leading Justice of the Sanhedrin. In their lust for peace and security, the Sanhedrin sides with Islam in their expectation of the coming Messiah, known as the Mahdi. During this interview, Hollander quotes verses that pertain to the Millennium Kingdom of the Messiah while deliberately ignoring what comes before – the antichrist (or antimessiah) movement, the fall of Babylon and the tribulation period that concludes man’s governance, otherwise known as “end times.’ Of course, the Sanhedrin rejects the information that comes from what most Christians call the “New Testament.” (“The Antichrist & the War on Reality“; “World War 3? End Time Insights About Gog and Magog“)
“The objectives of the alliance include waging a joint intellectual and spiritual battle against the worldwide growing tide of irreligiousness, unbelief and immorality,” explains Joel Richardson, who met in Turkey with Oktar in Istanbul on July 21, 2009. Even more unusual is the agreement with regard to the need to rebuild the Jewish Temple, a structure that Mr. Oktar refers to as the ‘Masjid (Mosque)’ or the ‘Palace of Solomon.’ Both sides agree that the Temple of Solomon “will be rebuilt and all believers will worship there in tranquility.” It was also posited that the “Mahdi” will be “active in the world in alliance with Christians and put away the atheist, materialist system.”
“This should be fairly simple,” explained Rabbi Hollander. “It is said that the structure of the Dome in Haram E-Sharrif (the Temple Mount) was originally meant by (Caliph) Omar to be a House of Prayer for Jews, and the Al-Aqsa for Muslims.” However, religious Jews would not be able to enter the Dome of the Rock unless it had first been ritually cleansed according to Jewish regulations.
Joel Richardson sees their plans tying in to Barack Obama’s calls for internationalizing the city of Jerusalem. None of the participants mentioned the ownership of the Temple Mount or the role of the Vatican in their plans. Will you be persuaded to involve yourself in this interfaith movement?
