Do You Give Leftovers to Messiah?

by John Greene

A lukewarm Christian doesn’t really exist in YHWH’s Book of Life. How do I know? The Bible clearly tells me so. If you attend a church and are simply going through the motions, you have a major problem…

lukewarm

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.” – Revelation 3:15-18, NKJV

Yahshua [Jesus] says because “the gathering in Laodicea” are neither hot nor cold, but lukewarm, He will spit them out of His mouth. If Yahshua [Jesus] spits the lukewarm out of His mouth, where does that put the lukewarm in spirit? (“Trust YHWH, Not World Leaders“; “How YHWH Marks His People“)

fear-gnashing-teethA Christian is NOT a person who calls on the ‘name of the Lord’ without ever saying it. So many professed Christians never give the Messiah their time, their talents or their treasure. The “lukewarm believer” never obeys Messiah, but likes the idea of getting what he or she can out of the deal. The idea of heavenly reward or everlasting life sounds good, but their heart and mind are never renewed in Messiah through the Holy Spirit. They do not set themselves apart to Elohim [‘God’] (“Wavering Between Two Opinions“; “Knowing Where You Stand on YHWH’s Threshing Floor“; “Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“)

Being a disciple is to be a seeker in learning (yes, accurate knowledge of scripture) and a student of Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah through the Holy Spirit [Sanctified, Set Apart Spirit]. To follow Yahshua [Jesus] means to listen with your heart, to obey Him. This doesn’t imply perfect obedience, but complete obedience to the degree possible because every man and woman fall short. That includes the first century disciples. (“Redeemed Through Obedience & Faith“; “The Unpardonable Sin“; “Understanding Sin“; “The Real Power Behind Baptism“)

Spiritual maturity is part of a growth process where a passion to follow Messiah develops. A spirit of obedience comes naturally from love and respect. Yahshua [Jesus] reminds the seeker that if you love Him, you will obey His commands. (“Discernment the World Doesn’t Have“)

“If you love Me, you shall guard My commands” – John 14:15, ISR98

This isn’t a salvation of works, but a salvation of grace. There is nothing that I or you can do to save ourselves. (“Cultivating YHWH’s Grace as You Seek Truth“; “Foundation of Salvation“)

“For by favor you have been saved, through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim, it is not by works, so that no one should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9, ISR98

leftovers for Christ

leftovers for Yahshua [Jesus]?

When you love YHWH and His Son did for you, your heart longs to follow Yahshua [Jesus] and to give Him your source of life, to obey and express your discipleship naturally to others:

“Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit,  teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.’ – Matthew 28:18-20, ISR98

“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
genuine-articleYou will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
