Children, adoption and family detachment are in the news, a hot topic of debate with recent events where a single mother recently sent her adopted child back to Russia. How different this attitude is from the attitude of Messiah! Disciples have not been rejected, but embraced, and the lost are actively sought in the time left in these end times.
The politics and court system of the United States has come to what they say is a startling realization. When a child between birth and age 3 is denied love, touch or close bonds, the growth of neurons in the frontal lobes is stunted. According to science, this area of the brain is directly associated with empathy, further hampering the ability to care for or love others. More importantly, the need for love and family attachment is not limited to infants, but spans throughout childhood. This crisis in personality is known as attachment disorder. According to science, attachment disorder blocks the ability to relate to people and prohibits compassion. Advocates within the United States Court System now say that the system is “creating monsters”, “a really horrible thing.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7; Proverbs 22:6)
Advocates say that the latest research is staggering because juvenile court systems around the country have unwittingly damaged children for decades in foster care by purposely preventing personal attachments. The system didn’t want children to become too attached in the event the children had to be moved and by doing so have created a national crisis.
The system is seeking correction in dealing with blighted orphans and single mothers because of the increased realization that modern culture needs to manage chronic neglect. This neglect has been rampant within the social culture that modern thinking and support in government has provided. Now a joint effort between courts and study centers have added the concept a caretaker and a “home away from home” for childhood attachment, an effort at “grandmotherly nurturing.” Meanwhile, the system wails because it has limited resources and limited loving hands to help though this sort of interaction. Little wonder since these same institutions have discouraged nurturing behavior. Institutional thinking of the past has created more and more detachment. This policy and attitude has eroded the fabric of family and relationships across America. Clearly, this debacle is not limited to America. Already, untold numbers have been impacted, changed forever.
Even though many see the errors of the past, the world of science and most of mankind views the situation as all about attachment, like a monkey or puppy attaches to a pseudo-parent or an authority figure. Science and power of the dark kingdom suggests that humans are simply sophisticated animals and nothing more. The idea is that anyone can provide the need of a child through nurturing. The reality is that relationship, true companionship, sharing and family are needed for healthy living. From the beginning of human culture, no matter how imperfect or abusive, the family has been the fortress of life skills and relationships. More and more, government and artificial family arrangements are taking precedence in the modern world of “civilized society.” (“The Role of Authority in Your Life“; “Disciples of Messiah & the Authority of Man“)
Delusion and detachment lends very well to the plight of the world today. Truly, we live in a darkened kingdom. Love and caring is becoming more and more alienated from permanent and long-term relationships as independence and freedom have become the watchwords of society. For example, the love generation of the 1960’s proudly proclaimed freedom and independent thought. The real fruit of that experiment has already come home to roost. The grand human experiment coupled with government welfare has created a society of detached miserable souls with a culture in crisis.
Many children rot in a system full of deception while adults run the bars and pubs looking for love and solace in all the wrong places. All suffer acutely from misdirection, confusion and spiritual ignorance. All the while, the world of politics and politics seeks to enforce responsibility while underwriting and rewarding the darkest elements of society in the name of compassion. In the United States, the idea of family as a center of love and affection is being sold behind the scenes as an outdated notion. The design of the system has been to empower a society of mental, social and moral control through rules and law without love. (“Bible Prophecy and the Rise of the Corporation“; “Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“; “Family vs. Government: The Disagreement About Parenting“; “Divorce: Modern Family & the Authority of Law“)
“Love is whatever you want it to be.” “Love is for children.” “Love is self” rivals “love as nurturing and compassion.” Many believe that they can breach the great divide with great intentions and short-term commitments. The popular politics about the situation points out that women hold the high ground of compassion through political feminism. While upbringing is becoming the role of government and money over family and love, almost everyone claims to be less content about the results of broken lives. Both in politics and society, the proud role of the broken and detached causes them to proclaim that the family never worked for any good purpose. Power and self-expression are the gods of society. These are the dichotomies in thought that the dark kingdom holds about love. The problem is that the middle ground where the family used to exist is more and more called meaningless or given less value as more people look at science, materialism and humanism for their significance. (Ecclesiastes 2:1-26; “The Parthenon & the Spirit of Humanism“; “Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“)
Even in the “world of religion”, the old emphasis of dying to self is now placed on self-affirmation and self-importance. Under the rule of man, man has always dominated man to his own injury. (Ecclesiastes 8:9) This realization of history has brought about a hard heart of unbelief as it seeks to reinvent itself on the surface. Once again, authority seeks to reinvent society from a new perspective. Prophecy in the Bible assures the Bible reader that this process of societal reinvention will pretend to gleam with success, but in near future YHWH’s Kingdom will bring an end to the lust for power that men and women hold. (“Discernment the World Doesn’t Have“; “Beware of False Teachers & Disciples“)
Many Christians fail to believe the times that prophecy speaks of are here now. A New Kingdom is in the wings that doesn’t depend on the opinion of men and women. Many Christians that claim to support the Kingdom of Elohim [‘God’] can scarcely believe it. The world is what they know. So many mirror the same unbelief as the world. This same unbelief is reflected in the advertisements and political topics that society flaunts with little vision. (2 Chronicles 7:14; Proverbs 29:18; “Is Your Love For Others Cold?“; “Wisdom & the Battle of Two Kingdoms“)
Professed Christians continue to express interest in all the ways that they can be healthy, wealthy and successful in the eyes of the dark kingdom. Many have adopted a lifestyle of mammon as the lifestyle of YHWH with little thought. Society has grown more and more obsessed with self. This is what Christians see everyday. We are bathed in the ideas of society that surround every Christian alive today.
What are Yahshua’s [Jesus] essential instructions to His sanctified?
“’Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Torah?’ And Yahshua said to him, ‘You shall love YAHWEH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments all the Torah and the Prophets hang.’” – Matthew 22:36-40, HRB
“But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you. Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself. ” – Matthew 6:33-34, ISR98
“Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit, teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20, ISR98
Society in the world constantly mocks the dysfunction of people, particularly within the family. The flaw behind this massive dysfunction is behavior. Much of popular behavior revels in what destroys and demeans others. Most of scripture focuses on relationship within the brotherhood of believers, not on relationship in the world. Brother is not simply a generic term, but an expression of trust among devoted believers in Messiah. For example, within a family of disciples, each member is a brother of like trust, first under Yahshua’s [Jesus] law of love. Human behavior is the hinge of trust as well as the hinge of destruction.
This scripture for the family ultimately applies when the rule of Satan and the dark kingdom of the world invade:
“And if your brother with you is at fault, go rebuke him, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not hear, take one or two more with you, so that on the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. But if he fails to hear them, tell it to the congregation. And if he also fails to hear the congregation, let him be to you as a tax collector and a heathen. Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on the earth will be, having been bound in Heaven. And whatever you loose on the earth will be, having been loosed in Heaven. Again I say to you, If two of you agree on earth as to anything, whatever they shall ask, it shall be to them from My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are assembled together in My name, there I am also among them.” – Matthew 18:15-20, HRB
