Overcoming Fear during Tough Times

Wall Street wealthSince the economic collapse in 2008, most of the world has run the gamut between intense fear and trust in the hopes of a miracle of capitalism to break new ground. Much of America sees itself as ‘Christian’ and what is more ‘Christian’ than capitalism many would ask? The salesmen of propaganda continue to be hard at work in their deception. (“News: Hyperinflation & False Teaching“; “News: Investment & the Black Horse of Famine“; “Attack of Advertising & Propaganda“; “Incentives of Deception“)

lure of good timesMany millions of hard-working people were deceived by the prospect of never-ending wealth, good times and easy credit, until they could no longer pay the bills. Many have been seduced by the salesmen of wealth and their own dreams of success, yet how many in the depths of their hearts have always known their circumstances and their inability to meet the need unless they get another miracle? (“The Miracle of the New Man in Messiah“; “Do You Live a Lifestyle of Greed?“; “Video: Love of the World“)

In fact, this miracle has been run on speculations and calculated gambles for many decades. The truth is that the seasons of wealth have been the same throughout all of man’s history.

“I sought refuge in YAHWEH;
How can you say to my soul,
‘Flee like a bird to your hill.'” – Psalm 11:1, HRB

Bible knowledgeIn tough times, you can easily be distracted. But who are you really kidding? During the season of good times, most are easily distracted all the same, but for different reasons. Keeping your mind and heart focused on trusting your Heavenly Father might seem difficult, or at least that is what so many say. Millions of Christians have been caught in this hot spot. (“Do You Give Leftovers to Messiah?“)

The distracted and agitated mind easily begins to look for a way out, a way that the mind can create and carry out. Even the Psalmist realized this. You can begin to reason, even in the face of YHWH, “You’ve put me here to be a good steward, live a good life and now I face ruin.” When you base your trust by investing your trust in a system of mammon and in your own wits over YHWH and His Kingdom, you begin to question even the Creator. How can I flee to Your holy mountain? Your faith is wavering. (“Disciple: Wavering Between Two Opinions“)

“For behold! The wicked will tread the bow;
They fixed their arrow on the string,
In order to shoot with it at the upright of heart in the dark.”
When the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?” – Psalm 11:2-3, HRB

Elohim of Hosts has already told the world today a great secret that the wicked don’t know or care to know. The wicked have filled their lives with many pains as they have sought the advantage over others. This is true to YHWH’s promise, even as they have sought to defraud the world for their own profit. They have done so to the point that the very foundations of their deceit, even the system itself, was at risk of being destroyed. Even if this were to happen, what can the righteous do? Why should they want to do anything but to trust in Elohim unless they were not of Him? YHWH is in His holy temple. His tabernacle is now His sanctified servants that seek Him and His favor in the Holy Spirit [Sanctified, Set Apart Spirit], not in the success and vanity of the world. (“Foundation of a Global System of Greed“)

“YAHWEH is in His holy temple;
YAHWEH, His throne is in the heavens;
His eyes see;
His eyelids will examine the sons of man.YAHWEH tries the righteous,
But His soul hates the wicked and the one loving violence.” – Psalm 11:4-5, HRB

The Psalmist reminds us that YHWH sees all. It seems silly to say that His eyelids test the sons of men. Directly translated from Hebrew, aphaph was understood by the Jews as YHWH’s brow or the dawn of YHWH’s sight. It is to surround or encompass, as in Elohim’s [‘God’] track of righteousness. His light tests the sons of men, to illuminate the actions and hearts of men. Jews since the Psalmist penned this phrase have decided that sacrifice and a willingness to undergo hardships for the right cause has long been a hallmark of Jewish greatness. Loyalty to a just cause is a great source of meaning and fulfillment. Jewish sages say: “According to the difficulty, is the reward.” (Job 23:10)

A closer study shows that the truth has been twisted through semantics (word substitution) to meet the desire of man and religion. Old wisdom says that a test is glorified when it is at the upper limit of a person’s capacity. “Passing the test actually changes the person. Potential becomes actualized.” What is commonly missed in all the logic and reflection that has been used is that only a test that honors or magnifies YHWH is worthy, and always for His Honor, not our own. (Psalm 66:10; Jeremiah 11:20; Romans 5:4; 1 Thessalonians 2:4; Hebrews 2:18)

The world has adopted many viewpoints as a means to excuse and to salve the difficulties of life, and more often, to justify any cause that they consider to be just and right. What is good or right is based in humanism and tradition instead of the Word. As a result, man is free to do more of whatever he pleases. Rethinking the process doesn’t change the truth that most often, man brings about his own tests and trials, and rarely for YHWH’s glory. (1 Peter 1:7; 4:12; “Becoming Your Own God Through General Goodness?“; “The Idolatry Factor“)

The underlying principle of the Bible indicates that YHWH gave us life with the idea of growing spiritually and sharing what is learned with others. Any spiritual growth, or lack or it, is based on what a person chooses to do or what not to do. If the result of certain test doesn’t honor YHWH, there is little purpose to the test. Yet, how many people try to justify personal, religious or national actions with the intent of a higher purpose for a short term gain or cheat for what is known to be less than honest. (Matthew 23:1-12; “Culture: Prompting Falsehood Through the Lie“; “Approved: Lie Cheat & Steal“)

People play these mind games all the time. As disciples of the Messiah, a personal testimony for every action is always the goal. The goal is that any test or trial that is faced truly magnifies YHWH. This requires a different frame of mind than simply trying to find a cheat, short cut or writing more rules in the hope of creating success. Honesty, humility and openness through love are required. This, in itself, is the ultimate test that billions will never realize. (“Wisdom & the Battle of Two Kingdoms“)

“He shall rain snares on the wicked;
Fire and brimstone and a scorching wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.
For YAHWEH is righteous;
He loves righteous deeds;
The upright look upon His face.’ – Psalm 11:6-7, HRB

fireLike Sodom and Gomorrah, like the Lake of Fire, YHWH will ultimately cleanse the curse that fills the earth and Satan and his agents along with it. YHWH’s people are very precious and He feels this deeply. He lives it because of His love for you. The world will suck you dry from all substance of your Heavenly Father if you allow this to happen. It will seek to direct your loyalties for the ends of the dark kingdom. YHWH knows this. Millions have been deceived by a slick political, religious and financial machine, either directly or through fear. Through this fear, professed Christians test themselves through their own self-deceit and self-interest.

fearFear is centered in unbelief, lack of trust. Fear is instilled through cultural, societal and parental control, always through manipulative behavior. False evidence appears real, at its worst, driving a deep-seated panic through a distortion of panic and thought. Fear is the opposite of faith, evidenced by lack of trust. Much of the fear is grounded in falsehood, promoted through falsehood and deception, designed by those in the dark kingdom that can take advantage of this cultivated attitude. These ‘what-ifs’ can rule your life, creating a stronghold or bondage that seems unbreakable. (2 Timothy 1:7; Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Peter 5:7; “The World Panic Button & End Times“; “Strongholds & the Armor of YHWH“; “Who Is The Stronghold of Your Life?“; “YHWH’s Revolution“)

The fruit of this bondage builds. You don’t trust the world and you don’t trust YHWH. Instead, fear consumes you, creating all nature of health concerns. Yet, the world accepts fear as a way of life. Others carry fear like a banner, like a promotion for what they have to sell. Instead of taking antidepressants and narcotics to salve the flames of fear, directing the faith that YHWH has given to you toward Him relieves the pressure. Combined with prayer, focusing on the Messiah and YHWH’s Word helps you to rebuild your life instead of depending on the world for more of the same. Believing and acting on YHWH’s Word reinforces trust, as well as a new man in Messiah through the Holy Spirit. False religions and deceived Christians cling to fables, traditions of men and philosophies that lead only to sickness, distress and death. When any man or woman considers the world’s view over the view of the Most High, only one result is possible. They deny the faith they profess. Professed Christians and the world have allowed Satan and the dark kingdom to rob them. As a result, they are to be destroyed with the wicked. (“Living in an Apostate World“; “Trading for the Myth of Peace & Security“; “The Struggle of Kingdoms Involves You“)

dawnLike the dawn after the night, YHWH’s light shines on human behavior, every thing that man and woman does. (Romans 8:29-30; 2 Corinthians 3:16-18) You don’t need to focus on fear or on the manipulations of others. Pray for yourself and pray for others, even those that have made so many mistakes. (1 Timothy 2:1-4; 1 Peter 5:1-3) Let YHWH help you to know yourself, to examine your heart. Never be discouraged. Put your trust in the One that gave you His Son. He always sees the upright and that is good news! (“Opposing Fear“)

“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” – Revelation 3:10, NKJV

Scriptures: Do Not Fear

“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
genuine-articleYou will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
