Truth is frequently discussed in this world, but it is rarely practiced in reality. A typical day of news in the world is full of infighting and dissenting opinions that seek to pull you to them in agreement. From politicians to salesmen, those that seek to influence conveniently ignore or conceal the truth. The lie is a way of life. In the minds of many, truth is not absolute in any sense of the word, so truth is of little importance. As a result, integrity and credibility are highly endangered commodities. In fact, these old legends of honesty are rarely considered. Just look at the brilliant economists of our age and their promotion of “financial literacy.” Look at where this financial literacy brought the nation and the world…and the worldly powers that be are just getting warmed up. (Jeremiah 17:5; “Bible Truth That Many Christians Don’t Accept“; “How YHWH Marks His People“)
The world of academia is no different. A Harvard economics professor wrote an article that was published in the New York Times entitled, “It’s 2026, and the Debt Is Due“. He must have been joking! In this article, the writer posed a hypothetical Presidential address that the President of the United States might make in the year 2026 after a failed bond auction. In this illustration the U.S. Treasury “tried to auction its most recent issue of government bonds” but “almost no one was buying.” (“Financial Usury & Bible Truth: Lending, Giving & Borrowing“; “The Great Tribulation & End Time Rapture“; “The Empire Under the Beast“)
The reality is that this play of the future is now, TODAY! The public no longer buys U.S. treasuries in any volume. The Federal Reserve, supported by an international cabal of central bankers that run the global currency, is buying 70% of U.S. treasuries available to keep the nation on life support. In life, nations and people groups often imagine that life and nations will continue forever. (“System of Mammon: The World Banking Hierarchy“; “Approved: Lie Cheat & Steal“; “Foundation of a Global System of Greed“)
Time and time again in our personal ministry in various gatherings in the Name of the Messiah, we have seen the mindset in Religious America. It is much like Corporate America. This mindset imagines that life as they know must not change. One prominent denomination even has a 100 year plan for the future that they advertise to their adherents. They worry mightily about how they will break their youth into the current world of worldly finance and prosperity the worlds’ way. As a people and as Christians, we are only fooling ourselves when we put personal stock in the world and its continuance. If anything, this mindset has been responsible for prolonging the end of days and delaying YHWH’s Kingdom. He wants to save as many as possible. He is waiting until He can wait no longer, but don’t bet on the waiting… (“Spiritual Prostitution & the Solution“; “The Need to Keep Spiritually Clean“; “YHWH’s Track of Righteousness“)
Take a look at history. Every nation and people dating from the beginning of recorded history lived a rise and fall of economic power and prominence. Today is no different. Yet, this nation and others ignore the ongoing financial and spiritual bankruptcy, continuing to ground their future in the empty policies and promises of political snake oil salesmen the world over. The chances of the nation and the world continuing for another fifteen years “as is,” without question, is the height of vanity.
On the other side of the coin, advocacy groups and a great mass of the population say that if the flagging nation makes enough cuts now, the country can certainly be saved. Britain has taken this approach. In the New York Times article, the President is projected to say in 2026: “Today, most of the large baby-boom generation is retired. They are no longer working and paying taxes, but they are eligible for the many government benefits we offer the elderly.”
This same hypothetical line of reasoning admits that in 2026 that we “have to cut Social Security immediately, especially for higher-income beneficiaries (the United States). Social Security will still keep the elderly out of poverty, but just barely” and we “have to limit Medicare and Medicaid.” What all of this really means depends on who you are. The worry-warts say that these programs will still provide basic health care, but they will no longer cover many expensive treatments. Individuals will have to pay for these treatments on their own or do without. The truth is, if the U.S. government cut 100% of all spending, the nation would still have a budget deficit from unsustainable entitlement programs and interest payments on national debt without continuing into the future. The “moral bankruptcy” of politicians and financiers is as high as the stars. The snake oil salesmen on all sides continue their banter endlessly in their hope to persuade you. Corporations are no different as they build in value deflation, shrinking portions and charging more for them in order to counter monetary inflation that the system builds in. (“A Survival Kit for Christians“; “U.S. Bankruptcy and the Bible“; “Foundation of a Global System of Greed“)
Just as the modern world has a ‘financial literacy crisis,’ it also has a ‘spiritual literacy crisis.’ The world is full of false teachers, both in religion and in the affairs of the world around you. The fact is that there is only one authority and that authority has been sadly represented in the last 2000 years by a false “church.” The singular authority is the Messiah. He is over the world, the antithesis of prevailing values in society. The societal norms of the world are anchored in falsehood and self-centered thinking. (“Leadership & the Universal Authority of Messiah“; “Breaking Strongholds of False Authority“)
Those that claim the cause of the Messiah must be committed to truth and love (that is the love and truth of YHWH), reflecting that to each other as disciples in real life. They must look to the Kingdom of YHWH alone or they are nothing less than false disciples and apostles. They may call themselves Christians, but they are this in name alone, certainly not in conduct, lifestyle or outlook. The world of man has inherited lies and abominations, now residing and reaping “the day of affliction.” Putting a ‘Christian smiley-face’ on the world or rubber stamping the norms of society will not result in the kind of spiritual fruit that will save lives, not even your own. You don’t need to worry about a crash in the Kingdom of YHWH. Where are you making your investment? (Matthew 12:33; “Beware of False Teachers & Disciples“; “World Order Built On Money and False Security“; “The False Shepherd and the True Shepherd“)
In the Bible, disciples are continually chided to watch out for false teachers. Many don’t consider themselves disciples, but followers. This is a deception. False teachers of all kinds attempt to deceive even the elect of YHWH’s people. These teachers have done so at great peril to all that have sought truth in Yahshua [Jesus]. (John 16:2; Revelation 13:7-15)
“For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. See, I have forewarned you.” – Matthew 24:24-25, HRB
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” – Matthew 7:15-20, NKJV
False religious leaders and false disciples are covered well in the Bible book of Jude.
“And the seventh from Adam, Enoch, also prophesied to these men, saying, Behold, the Master comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all; and to convict all the wicked, because of all the deeds they have wickedly committed; and because of all the harsh words, which the unrighteous sinners have spoken. These are murmurers, complainers, going according to their lusts, and their mouth speaks proud flattering words, lifting up faces for the sake of gain.” – Jude 14-19; for reference read the entire book of Jude
A false teacher is highlighted in Jude 11 as well. A false teacher rebels against YHWH, rejecting the Almighty’s teaching for his own and prophesies or teaches for money as his or her chief inner purpose. Unhappily, this rebellion has been ripe from the beginning as self-proclaimed leaders twist YHWH’s Word for their own purposes. (“Interfaith: Image of the Beast & the False Prophet“)
“I rejoiced greatly because I found your children walking in truth, as we received command from the Father. And I now request you, mother congregation, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but one which we had from the beginning, that we should love one another. And this is love, that we should walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it. Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Yahshua Messiah to have come in the flesh, such a person is a deceiver and an anti-Messiah. Watch yourselves, that we may not lose the things we worked out, but that we may receive a full reward. Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Messiah does not have YAHWEH. The one abiding in the doctrine of Messiah, this one has the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bear this doctrine, do not receive him into the house, and do not speak a greeting to him.” – 2 John 4-10, HRB; 2 Peter 3:3
How often is this applied among those that claim Meesiah? Since the formation of the first century disciples, there have always been forces that seek to divide. Over the last 2000 years, this division and the refusal to abide by Bible principles and truth has borne the fruit that we see today, what is largely a false sense of what Christianity really is. Christianity isn’t for everyone because not all believe and then bring their life into harmony with what they know. The antichrist-antimessiah element seeks to do the opposite, either all at once, or more commonly, in subtle ways that pull followers after them. It’s about substitution. Any believer who correctly learns the word of truth and abides in YHWH’s Spirit (2 Timothy 2:15) can identify false knowledge. Discernment is vital. (“Which Shepherd Do You Believe?“; “Christianity: A Crisis in Prayer & Spirit“)
“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the Day of Judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” – Matthew 12:31-37
The ultimate sin against the Holy Spirit [Sanctified, Set Apart Spirit] is unbelief or the rejection of the truth of YHWH’s Spirit. That unbelief is directly reflected in your personal spiritual fruit. That is why faithfulness to the Bible is so important in the end. When you refuse YHWH’s teaching and instruction you place yourself at great risk. (1 John 2:22; 2 Peter 3:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:7, 9; Jude 9; Hosea 11:8, 14:4; “The Unpardonable Sin“; “Understanding Sin“)
“And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. The one saying, I have known Him, and not keeping His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in that one. But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of YAHWEH has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.” – 1 John 2:3-5
YHWH is Light (1 John 1) and Satan works hard to masquerade a similar light. (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) With accurate knowledge, you can easily recognize a counterfeit. For additional reading about false teachers have a look at these Bible books: 2 Peter, 1 and 2 John, Jude, Galatians, as well as 2 Thessalonians. In the ‘Gospels,’ look carefully at the words of Yahshua [Jesus] as He confronts the Pharisees, Sadduccees and teachings of the day. They are in the Bible for your attention for your protection! (“Are You Rejecting YHWH’s Holy Spirit?“; “Building a Counterfeit Kingdom“; “Religion & Rise in Opposition to Christians“)
“Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because that Day will not come unless first there comes a great rebellion, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, the one opposing and exalting himself over everything being called Elohim, or object of reverence, so as for him ‘To sit in the sanctuary of Elohim’ as an El, and sets himself forth, as if he is a Elohim.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, HRB
By knowing what the Bible says and taking that truth to heart you can begin to avoid being a victim or participant in the great falling away from Bible truth. This has been underway from the beginning and in these days the struggle for both religious and political prominence is ongoing as the movement moves away from YHWH. (Matthew 7:13-14, 22-23, 24:4-12; 2 Timothy 3:8, 4:3; “The Idolatry Factor“; “Are You Running Away from Messiah?“; “Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“)
It isn’t necessarily about being an obvious skeptic. Jannes and Jambres were angels of light, magicians that sought to match the miracles of YHWH in the Egyptian court of the Pharoah. We have the appearance of the antichrist-antimessiah going on today, often in ways that pretend to be through the power of YHWH or through the Holy Spirit. Whether showmen or not, these false teachers vie for your trust, always to get you to follow them for their own benefit instead of pointing to Messiah and the purposes of YHWH. Jude 4 reminds that these kind of men can creep into the gathering of disciples quietly, even secretively. (Acts 20:29-30; 2 Timothy 3:2; “Do You Take Sin For Granted?“; “Living in an Apostate World“)
“But if I delay, that you may know how to behave in the house of YAHWEH, which is the Congregation of the living Elohim, the pillar and foundation of the truth. Truly, great is the divine mystery of righteousness: which was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by cherubs, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, following deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, who with false appearance mislead and will speak lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience, forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which Elohim created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth. Because all things created by YAHWEH are good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanks-giving; for it is sanctified through the Word of YAHWEH and prayer.” – 1 Timothy 3:15-4:5, HRB
The battle within is trust in Elohim versus trust in the world. One is light; the other darkness. (1 John 1) The world speaks highly of ‘spirituality’ and uses the word ‘faith’ constantly. Your trust cannot be grounded in any magical thinking of darkness. YHWH isn’t magic or wishful thinking. The power of the Holy Spirit is real and life changing. The sacrifice of your Messiah, your Master is real. (“The Struggle of Kingdoms Involves You“)
Do you abide with Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah? In opposition to YHWH, the idolatry of self, people, places or things is what consumes the world and deviant religion. The downfall of Satan is that he thought too much of himself. As he became his own idol, he removed himself from YHWH’s favor and sought to have mankind do the same, seeking to separate them from the Almighty forever. The dark kingdom doesn’t have power over your soul if you don’t give it up to that power. Yet, this is a largely misunderstood event that is taking place today. The worship of Jerusalem and religion contaminates Bible truth. Humanism has replaced YHWH’s instruction across the societal spectrum as each man becomes his own god. (Exodus 31:13; Jeremiah 50:6; Amos 8:11)
“And our Master said, ‘Hear what the unjust judge says; Will not Elohim do all the more vengeance for His elect who call on Him by day and by night? And He will be long-suffering with them. I say to you that He will do their vengeance quickly. Nevertheless, the Son of Man will indeed come, and will He find faith on earth?’” – Luke 18:6-8, HRB; read Luke 18 for context
The question remains. Will Messiah find evidence of true faith that seeks Him in you or will He find abundant darkness of the world? YHWH, your Heavenly Father, asks you to join Him and put your trust in Him. When He comes, He comes for His people. The rest are destined for the Lake of Fire. (Revelation 19:20-21, 20:14; “Disciple: The Pattern of Your Life“)
“Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of YHWH has risen upon you. For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But YHWH arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you. ” – Isaiah 60:1-2, ISR98
