A doctor finds disease after the fact. The fact is that your thought life is fully capable of producing the disease that a doctor can find. As a man thinks in his heart, he is. It’s a simple truth. (Proverbs 23:7)
” My son, listen to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; guard them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” – Proverbs 4:20-22, ISR98
All the thinking of a Christian disciple needs to line up with scripture. As a disciple, you need to fight wickedness and captivity, bringing all your thoughts into captivity with the Messiah. If you’ve read our book, Two Kingdoms: Genetics of Spiritual Warfare, you’ve learned how your thoughts often activate your health through what the science of man calls the epigenome, processes that create switches within your cells that can create or prevent disease and disease processes. “I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.” – Romans 12:1-2, ISR98
“Because of this I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you shall eat or drink, or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than the food and the body more than the clothing? Look at the birds of the heaven, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father does feed them. Are you not worth more than they?
And which of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his life’s span? So why do you worry about clothing? Note well the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin, and I say to you that even Shelomoh in all his esteem was not dressed like one of these. But if Elohim so clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more you, O you of little belief?
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For all these the gentiles seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:25-33, ISR98
Your body is actually the recipient of your behavior through this epigenome based on what you think and feel. This is by YHWH’s design. Originally, it was with the idea of prospering mankind with wholeness. Rebellion to your Heavenly Father creates a downside with real physical results. Your Heavenly Father [YHWH] gives you freedom to choose blessing or curses, (Deuteronomy 28) and whether you want to follow Him. Don’t entertain wrong, hold grudges and hard feelings, or hang onto depression! All these things create a reaction that creates disease, destroying abundance in your life. This is what Satan wants. Do you?
Don’t look at the world for your significance and chase down what the world promotes because of the fear of lack. YHWH, the Elohim of Hosts sustains those that believe in Him. That means your lifestyle shows that trust, as you continue to grow spiritually through Him.
“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” – Acts 17:11, NKJV
What does scripture say? The Bereans actively inquired about YHWH’s Word, seeking the truth so that they could follow it, so that they could obey. Disciples today need to operate in this lifestyle, actively seeking to bring truth into their lives, instead of deception. That is what we are believing for all of you. That is what your Father wants for you. What do you want? (“Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“; “Forsaking Bitterness“; “How Do You Honor YHWH?“; “Doctrine Is What You Do“)
