Throughout recorded history, kingdoms of man have ruled over people. Wherever a vacuum of control seems to exist in the world, man has the insatiable desire to fill it with his own creation. Man rules by default because overall, people don’t want to look to their Heavenly Father. The idea of real personal relationship with the Heavenly Father is often rejected because the majority of mankind is blinded and highly prejudiced against it. For the most part, men and women can’t envision how YHWH or Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah could rule over mankind because it is strange or foreign to what anyone has ever seen or experienced. (John 12:40; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Isaiah 44:18; “Millenniums of Human Exploitation“; “What is Evil? The Jealousy of Nations & Skeptics“)
Even the old nation of Israel didn’t readily accept the rule of YHWH except through other men. They were heavily influenced by the cultures around them. Today, a world of global information can make cultural and political influence even more profound. While prophets of YHWH have listened to the Elohim of Hosts, the general population prefers to operate on their own terms, apart from intimate relationship with Him. Since the Messiah gave His earthly life for the salvation of man, the Sanctified [Set Apart, Holy] Spirit has been actively on the scene, seeking to work with each human being according to personal heart condition based on Bible knowledge and the sacrifice of Messiah. YHWH continues to ask His people to look directly to Him instead of the world. Why? This involves the personal and the spiritual well-being of His people, their survival into His Kingdom. (Isaiah 54:17) In the eyes of YHWH, the rule of man, as all the interests of mankind, continue to be measured by the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:3-17) and the law of Messiah (Matthew 22:36-39), which always defines sanctified disciples. (“YHWH’s Track of Righteousness“; “Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“; “The Magi of this Age“)
Politicians, whether they appear honest or corrupt, are not a god to any true disciple of Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah, nor can a politician or leader justifiably make demands that violate the Father’s commandments. Why? YHWH’s law is always first. As a disciple of YHWH and Messiah, you don’t deliberately conflict with Bible principles, especially in repeated sin. (John 8:11, 14:15; Luke 15:4; Galatians 5:19-21; 1 John 1:9; Romans 7:15-19) Disciples are not to validate anything that flies in the face of these commandments. This means if you have the ability, you avoid enabling any condition that works against the coming Kingdom. You continue to pray that the Elohim of Hosts [YHWH] brings His Kingdom soon. (“Are You a Christian First or Last?“; “YHWH First: Your Life Is Your Testimony“)
In the meantime, the leaders of man will continue to conduct themselves as always. Yahshua [Jesus] told us that all must pay required financial tribute, but His disciples must not willingly endorse or enable corruption. (Romans 14:22; Ephesians 5:10; Philippians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 2:4) Disciples of the Messiah can only endorse or enable honesty and upright conduct. That is part of a righteous witness, just as confronting wickedness is. (Luke 16:10; John 13:35; Ephesians 4:1-16, 22, 32; Philippians 1:27; Romans 12:2, 15:14; James 5:16; Galatians 6:2; 1 Timothy 1:19; 1 Thessalonians 4:18; 1 Peter 4:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17; “Government & the Law of Nations“)
By their fruit you will know them. (Matthew 7:16-20; John 17:16; Luke 14:33)
1 Peter 2
11 Dear ones, I beg in the manner of strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which contend against the soul.
12 Hold your behavior honestly among the nations, that in the way that they slander you as evildoers, from out of your virtuous conduct, they see Elohim’s glory as in the day of visitation.
13 Submit accordingly, every ordinance of man through Elohim, whether king, as supreme.
14 whether leader, as sent through Him, for punishment of true evil and to praise the good.
15 Because in this way is the will of Elohim, that by doing good, you silence the ignorance of unwise men. – (direct translation from Greek text, the reader should always confirm context of Bible verses)
Just as many people do, many politicians advertise themselves as Christians. A professed Christian politician “worth his salt” would operate as a Christian in front of and behind the scenes based on his active relationship with YHWH and His Word. However, reality is not this simple. (John 8:43-44, 15:18-23; Romans 5:5-8; James 3:11-12) The system of governance that man endorses must be seen in the light of the Book of Revelation (Revelation 11:7, 13:1-18, 17:7-18, 19:18-20) instead of continuing forever under the power of man. Many believe that man will establish ‘God’s Kingdom’ on earth. (Matthew 24:43, 25:31, 36; Mark 13:26, 34-37; John 3:5, 18:36; Acts 1:11, 2:47; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 5:2-3; 2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 1:7) Man’s governance on any level will not establish that Kingdom. Man’s ‘beast system’ is not of the Heavenly Father or His Kingdom, and must be handled accordingly. A Christian cannot be a part of such things and needs to set himself/herself apart from the world. (Matthew 13:41-42, 49-50, 25:31-4; Romans 12:1-2; John 17:14-15, 18:36; 1 John 1:7-9, 5:18-21; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Revelation 3:17) Christians need to wake up! (“The Miracle of Living Water“; “Knowing Where You Stand on YHWH’s Threshing Floor“)
The Elohim of Hosts knows both private life and public life, and that the two are one. This is a far from perfect world. Politics is full of documented dishonesty, deception, envy and misrepresentation that impacts virtually everyone from top to bottom. Corruption is what the multitude has come to expect in multitudinous shades of grey and most often, this is a reflection of the world in general. We know that politics is people in high places and evidence is strong that global hierarchy twists facts and makes up half truths. People in the political world compromise with corruption, they endorse it. It has been this way from the beginning of recorded history, whether it seems worse now or not. Today, the “corporation,” whether governmental, business or religious, has become a tool of Satan to rob and oppress the people of YHWH, or whomever those in power choose. The reality for Christians today is this: nobody needs to endorse a person or worldly entity that makes promises for change in a system that refuses to change, that continually seeks after its own interests. (“The Real Meaning of Romans 13”)
For Christians, politics and life as usual are not an option. A disciple of Messiah cannot endorse a corrupt nation by any name. (Ezekiel 8:17-18) If a Christian candidate for political office were possible, this candidate would conduct him or herself honestly and with upright conduct, using Yahshua [Jesus] as their platform despite the jeers of the media or the people around them. You don’t see this, nor do you see anyone that can truly bring about YHWH’s Kingdom. Despite the claims of any man that seeks an office of power or authority, Peter warns disciples about their behavior in comparison to the world. (1 Peter 2:12) By their fruit you will know them. (Matthew 7:16-20; Acts 4:19-20; 5:29) In his own power and authority, man is much like whitewashed graves of old. (Matthew 23:27-28) Man is not fit to rule. (“What is the Standard of Life Conduct in a Disciple of Messiah?“)
No matter where a Christian finds him or herself, the only alternative to compromising the Word of YHWH is to remove oneself from the corruption and to tell the world about it. This refusing to compromise the Word of YHWH is what makes unapologetic Christians so dangerous, and ultimately, unelectable or un-promotable in most societies. They stand out in conduct and very often, by appearance. Disciples of Messiah are not like the world! They are set apart! (1 Corinthians 1:25, 2:14, 3:19, 6:12, 10:23; “The Thread of Christian Life“; “Disciple: The Pattern of Your Life“)
Anointed disciples, new men and women in the Messiah with upright conduct is not typical, nor has it been typical. If this was typical, Christians would have earned a real measure of respect, a reputation of standing for something real. This doesn’t make Christians perfect in the world because disciples are still flesh. (Romans 3:23, 5:1-2, 7:19; 2 Peter 1:2-4; Jeremiah 29:11) However, Yahshua [Jesus] spiritually completes His disciples so that they can receive and grow in the Holy Spirit. Instead, skeptical people look for the cheating that they expect based on what they have seen so many professed Christians do. (Romans 12:1-2; Romans 9:17-18; “Approved: Lie Cheat & Steal“; “Is the Bible Losing Influence in the United States?“; “Purity Starts Inside: A Lesson Through the Ages“)
The nations are full of people, including politicians, that take pop shots at one another as if they have some kind of mental illness. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) What we see in America is a cynical nation of people that usually operate as rebels that fight one another at every turn. May Christians not be confused with political rebels! The politics and philosophies that proclaim diversity in a fragmented world have not brought peace. Why? Politics does not change the heart, nor does secularism, humanism and other philosophies of man. Disciples of Messiah that seek after a pure heart cannot endorse these kinds of behaviors or actions, a system full of darkness. This is the very stuff that disciples must root out. (Matthew 6:33; Hebrews 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Philippians 3:14) Those that continually seek to remove corruption from life and to grow in Elohim’s [YHWH] Spirit are under His protection and provision. (Psalm 105:15; 1 Chronicles 16:22) Those disciples of pure heart are in stark contrast to those that idolize world leaders and put their trust in charismatic personalities. (“Mind Filters“; “Mind Control of the Beast“; “Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“)
As the politicians, corporate thinkers and bankers ride the old national and financial horse to its death, (Proverbs 16:10, 20:8, 25:2) as financial matters become uncontrollable, people of all kinds will frantically look for a savior. The Bible says it will be a “strong delusion.” That delusion is already underway. A counterfeit savior is waiting in the wings, prepared for a season of global change, a counterfeit that seeks to masquerade as ‘God’s Kingdom,’ as the long-awaited Kingdom ruled by ‘Christ.’ Deceived people will lose more than they could ever hope for by endorsing a world of idolatry over the real Kingdom of YHWH, many of them having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Disciples of the Messiah need to be in prayer that people can be shown the eternal truth of YHWH, as well as looking forward to Elohim’s Kingdom. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; James 1:22-25; Philippians 2:15; Colossians 3:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Revelation 13) Whatever you choose to do is your choice, but we pray that you choose life under YHWH. (Deuteronomy 30:19) Your decision proves your trust! (Proverbs 3:5; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 4:6; Isaiah 41:13; Psalm 32:7; “YHWH’s Prayer Shawl of Protection“; “News: Hyperinflation & False Teaching“; “News: Wall Street Greed Creates Hunger“)
