The news is out that nearly 15 percent of people worldwide believe the world will end during their lifetime and 10 percent think the Mayan calendar signifies it will happen in 2012. The ‘Mayan Prophecies’ have been championed by many based on wild interpretations regarding the end of the Mayan Calendar.
Many people are seeking solutions in a time when an apostate Christianity has few answers. Many pseudo-scientists have jumped on the bandwagon for their 15 minutes of fame using scant evidence and flights of fancy. Millions want to hinge their lives on pagan stories and archaeology that is incomplete at best. Much will continue to remain a mystery until these scientists remove the jungles that have swallowed up the Mayan civilization and after that, have had time to evaluate their findings. Man’s science is hardly infallible when those authorities don’t have enough information to draw reasonable conclusions, and even then the knowledge gleaned is subject to argument and interpretation. An international message of eugenics is being advertised which neatly dovetails with an outlook of international catastrophe relating to the deaths of billions. The reality is that people are being manipulated into a confused state so that they can be divided and conquered, materially as much as spiritually. (“The Man of Lawlessness“; “Is the Bible Losing Influence in the United States?“; “The Magi of this Age“)
The likes of the History Channel have jumped on board to accent material from the Book of Revelation, comparing it to whatever pagan sources that they can find that draw similar conclusions. They rise up against divine prophecy in the hope of having you follow after them in baseless idolatry, all in the name of the latest fad of pseudo-science. Many hope that the world will end so that they can have relief from the storms of life that they find themselves in. History shows that these feelings of desiring relief are not new. (“Millenniums of Human Exploitation“)
Without question, the world is in a mess, and has been for some time. There is reason for concern for those that don’t have YHWH for their significance. (Matthew 24:4-14) With the advent of the internet and free global communication, many have drawn larger conclusions about centuries of exploitation, oppression and tyranny by authorities of all kinds in this dark kingdom on earth. It’s a kingdom that mankind and Satan have created together, as men and women vie for personal power and wealth in their time on the planet. The Mayan prophecies and other pagan prophecies like these seek to remove YHWH’s authority in preparation for the final rule of Satan through man’s power on earth. (“Mind Filters“)
To make matters worse, there is little agreement about what the “end of the world” really means. The Book of Revelation is crystal clear about one truth, that Elohim’s [YHWH] Kingdom is being revealed on this earth through Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah. (Matthew 24:26-44; Mark 13:24-31; Luke 21:25-33) What is more clear is that the Son of Man will come at an exact time that is unexpected. Yet, even the Words of Yahshua [Jesus] are being ignored for a new kind of gospel that is more scintillating and exciting while creating more error and disagreement. Professed Christians are becoming more and more like the world, as many fall away from Bible truth into another kind of gospel. (“The Reality of the Antichrist“; “The Bible & Higher Authority“; “The Power Behind the New World Order“)
Smart people do have their eyes open in a personal search, but are they looking at the right source? Are these people looking for the right reasons? Who are they listening to when they aren’t listening to their Savior?
The Bible clearly notes that the transition from man’s kingdom to YHWH’s Kingdom will be eventful. What most men and women are concerned about are the transitions in man’s kingdom which has little to nothing to do with ‘God’ in the minds of many. Money and personal prosperity have more to do with the worries of most people. What is clear is that this global age is unsustainable indefinitely as it stands. The authorities have milked the world economies and material wealth until they no longer truly know what to do. What we do know from the Bible is that this world of man rule does have an expiration date. (“The Great Tribulation & End Time Rapture“: “The Fear of Armageddon“; “The Roots of Biblical End Times“; “The World Panic Button & End Times“)
Meanwhile, the hysteria rages as millions worry about corporate oligarchy, political control, international bankers and a global elite, genocide, vaccines and environmental toxicity. Even though mankind may face the possible eruption of the Yellowstone Volcano or a massive solar flare, even another nuclear disaster or earthquake of immense proportions, this is all in line with what Yahshua [Jesus] told His disciples before He ascended to heaven.
The threat that all Christians face is unbelief and destruction because of the great deception that is taking place in the world today. (Matthew 13:58) Instead of obsessing over speculation, genuine Christians [sanctified disciples] have a real work to do (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) with what little time remains using Bible truth instead of the traditions of men. (Matthew 15:1-9; Mark 7:1-30) No man or woman is immune to the judgment of the world except through their own personal relationship with YHWH through Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah and the Holy Spirit.
