Are You a Christian First or Last?

The blur between Bible truth & sermons

Today, we live in a world that is vastly separated from the Heavenly Father and many that should be sounding the alarm are doing the opposite. Instead, institutions pat professed Christians on the back while discounting trouble signs that are continually illuminated. Why is this? Most often, the cause seems to be the standard that is being used. When you use the standards of the world, even Christians can do little wrong unless they are disobeying what is seen as the law of nations. This is because many professed spiritual watchmen are using standards of the world or of another gospel. They have replaced the truth of Yahshua [Jesus] with another, a counterfeit. This brand of faith doesn’t trust in YHWH or the real teaching of the Messiah, but uses scripture to twist the allegiance of Christians to one that is less threatening to politicians and other professed leaders of the world wherever they may be. In some respects, this has been going on since the first century disciples accepted the Word of Elohim [YHWH] through the Messiah. Today, the entire physical earth is full of a distorted gospel, a deception that threatens all Christians today. This was foretold in scripture as well. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4; Isaiah 14:12; “Adam, Eve & the Shining One“; “The Beast: The Shining One“; “Bible Prophecy: The Man of Lawlessness“)

“And then many shall stumble, and they shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise up and lead many astray. And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.” – Matthew 24:10-13, ISR98

“But the Spirit distinctly says that in latter times some shall fall away from the belief, paying attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of demons” – 1 Timothy 4:1, ISR98

There are around two billion people on the earth who identify themselves as Christians, but significantly fewer that are really part of the body or gathering of Messiah. Multitudes have a truly confused Christian identity with more Christians than ever deceived by ‘unbiblical teaching.’ (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13-16; 2 Peter 2:20-22, 3:1-3; Jude 18; 2 Thessalonians 2:3; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) A new age threat also rests in the wings based on certain scriptures as ‘Christianity’ goes through the motions of reuniting as ‘God’s Kingdom,’ once again using deceptive teachings of another gospel. (John 13:35; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Colossians 3:14; “Playing It Safe With Another Gospel“; “Who Is Your Source?“; “Giving to Others While Trusting in YHWH for Your Needs“)

An apostate church has been a constant fixture since Messiah rose from death. The word apostasy comes from the Greek word “apostasia,” (Strong’s G646) to defect from truth, fall away or forsake. In the world of religion today, apostasy is most often applied to someone else, but disciples of Messiah must remember to apply the Bible to themselves first through the use of accurate scriptural knowledge and understanding with the help of the Holy Spirit. Each disciple of Messiah must use the Word of scripture as a mirror as set out in James 1:22-24. (Matthew 24:10-12; Mark 4:5-17; John 6:66; Romans 1:18-32, 16:17-18; 2 Corinthians 11:1-15, 13:5; Galatians 1:6-9, 5:1-12; Philippians 3:2, 18-19; Colossians 2:4-23; 1 Timothy 1:3-7, 4:1-3, 6:3-5; 2 Timothy 2:11-26, 3:1-9, 4:15; Titus 1:10-16; Hebrews 2:1-4, 3:7-4:13, 5:12-6:12, 10:26-31, 12:14-17; 1 Peter 3:19-20; 2 Peter 2:1-22, 3:3-10, 17; 1 John 2:18-23, 3:4-12, 4:1-6; 2 John 9; Jude 3-23; “Spiritual Disease that Eats at Your Salvation“)

2012 poll spiritual person

spirituality without spiritual maturity

Researcher George Barna and his group of pollsters have taken on the call of a spiritual watchman using polling that reveals the “State of the Church.” While this information is interesting, the information that you gain from this material depends on your Biblical knowledge and outlook. This polling is rated by opinion in the United States through the profession of Christians. For quite some time, the ‘woman’ has been considered as the bedrock of faith and church attendance, while the government has simultaneously looted and pillaged the family, many times in an effort to separate the family and procure more power. At the same time, in the church, the Sunday school model remains the dominant “Christian model.” Between 1991 and 2011, church attendance declined by 11% to 44%, meaning less people than ever gather together as Christians, at least in traditional ways. In our review and experience, religious leaders have not been effective and the population is simply responding to this reality. However, you continue to see rosy remarks and sentiments based on what is typically worldly conjecture and assumption even though the only religious behavior that has increased is ”becoming unchurched.” The exception seemed to be in large and mega-churches, where “religious behavior” remained stable. Dominantly, Satan is seen merely as a symbol of evil. The Bible is seen by more as less than reliable within the halls of professed Christianity. Less believe in the Almighty Creator than ever before. (“Living in the Now“; “What is God’s Church?“; “Is YHWH in Your Marriage?“)

2012 I feel good

what Christian women feel good about

In the same study, in younger Christians, Bible reading has jumped by 9%, including more active participation for those that did. Older professed Christians are less active and less likely to read the Bible while claiming to hold to their faith. Recent findings in 2012 find that Christian women are much less likely to admit to negative characteristics or faults. While some may attribute this to well being, a closer look would probably find personal deception in life, especially where they are personally concerned. The conclusion of researchers was this: “On the whole, it would seem Christian women in the U.S. are doing just fine. When asked to evaluate their faith and the condition of their interior lives, most projected a confident, composed opinion of themselves.” Self-esteem is not an effective determination of Biblical self-examination that disciples of Messiah are called to. What disciples need is Messiah-confidence. (“Sin & the Law of Liberty“; “YHWH’s Revolution“; “Do You Live a Lifestyle of Greed?“; “The Magi of this Age“)

While we aren’t picking on Christian women, the evidence seems to indicate that plenty of self-deception exists where “faith” is concerned. (Matthew 6:24; John 8:44; Luke 6:38; 1 John 5:19; Colossians 3:5-10; Galatians 6:7-8; Proverbs 10:9) Evidence points to this in Christian men as well. Many are falling away, as we have previously noted, because church fails to meet their spiritual needs in any real capacity. This is despite the evidence that so many churches have already fallen away where Bible teaching is concerned. Instead, disciples are going it alone or meeting in small groups that aren’t considered often considered as a ‘church’. The study by Barna doesn’t go into this, instead maintaining the idea of the church being the center of faith, affirming that ‘churches are a positive factor in their communities.’ The truth is that the Bible isn’t simply about positive thinking or having a positive influence based on world standards. The graphics supplied with the studies indicates a heavy worldly influence on the part of the conception and polling of those considered. As a group, most Christians are taught to look to leaders for all that we are. However, this doesn’t translate where Yahshua [Jesus] in concerned. Yahshua [Jesus] is to be the personal center of the disciple, rather than institutions and inventions of man. (“Standing Strong Through Storms“; “Interfaith: Image of the Beast & the False Prophet“; “Judgment & Promise: The Almond Branch & YHWH’s People“)

2012 the role of Christian parents

13% of Christian women see themselves primarily as followers of Christ

The evidence is square in the research on Christian women this year. A 13% percentage of Christian women consider their most important role as a ‘follower of Christ,’ as the study puts it. Instead they identify dominantly as a parent, mother or wife. This shows a deeper lie that all Christians seem to be feeding themselves. A disciple is a disciple of the Messiah first or he/she risks losing what is truly important about discipleship. Instead, most professed Christians immerse themselves in role-playing and worldly responsibilities. This chaos may seem normal and even beneficial. It is not. While some do seem to thrive on role-playing, people are becoming burned out every day from the stress of a false system of weights and balances. Who knows the true level of where Messiah or YHWH really play into the matter, since so many put worldly concerns, efforts, views and role-playing above the teaching of Yahshua [Jesus]. Most Christian women claim that they are deeply spiritual and mature in their faith. Most of us seem to fail to understand why we are here and where we really fit into the world. Worse, the line has been blurred between the sermons of pastors and the Bible, which can be a real issue with Bible truth. (“What Church Growth is Really About“; “Listening to the Holy Spirit“; “Cultivating YHWH’s Grace as You Seek Truth“)

Having confidence in the Almighty Father YHWH, Yahshua [Jesus] as the Messiah and the Holy Spirit is a necessity to maturing as a new man/woman in Messiah. However, the evidence shows that, at least in the United States, Christians tend to deceive themselves about what is important and how this affects their lives. Let us not be deceived about where we stand as disciples and what is needed. Each Christian is commissioned to an important task beyond simply living or making a living. (Matthew 6:19-33, 28:18-20; Luke 12:15-34; 1 John 2:15-17, 5:21; Revelation 21:8) We have a more rewarding experience at hand. In fact, personal livelihood continues to be where most Christians are deceived. Christians have enabled Satan to dominate them through fear and obedience to the world without recognizing that essential truth. Instead, confusion and distraction remains because this is in the best interest of the system of man, fictionalized through the humanistic idea that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Meanwhile, because of deception, the very opposite is subject to happen as those with power seek more power and influence. In fact, many professed Christians have learned to live lives of greed and self-indulgence while parading the ‘name of Christ’ or ‘the Kingdom of God.’ (Isaiah 56:11-12; Revelation 18:4-5; Jude 11; 2 Peter 2:3, 14-15; 1 Corinthians 5:11, 6:9-10; Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 Timothy 3:8, 6:5-11; Titus 1:7-8; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Luke 12:15; Jeremiah 6:13, 8:10; Proverbs 11:6; Micah 3:11-12) Instead, Christians, seeking to be sanctified disciples of the Messiah, must set themselves apart from the world in every way possible. (1 Corinthians 5:10-11, 6:9-10; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Ephesians 4:18-19, 5:3-5; Colossians 3:2-6; Philippians 3:18-19; 1 Thessalonians 2:4-6; “Deceptions of Ages: How People are Deceived“; “The Parthenon & the Spirit of Humanism“; “The Struggle for Purity of Heart“)

“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
genuine-articleYou will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
