The world is full of fear, all of which has been learned. Fear is learned through conditioning of the mind and body, often without considering the source. The medical community often equates “fight or flight” situations to fear. Through observation, we have learned is that the human body does not function well under continuous fear. The effect on your body from the continual secretion of stress hormones can be catastrophic. The medical and psychiatric community agrees that many diseases are caused by fear, anxiety and stress. The scientific and medical community have said that a genetic blueprint determines how we live and react to life while dictating what diseases come into being. The theory is that fear alters the genetic makeup through what scientists call polymorphisms. Simply put, polymorphism is a gene change caused by a trigger. Science suggests that triggers are often disease based. The reality is that lifestyle and attitude have just as much impact.
Science suggests that gene manipulation through fear results in alteration of serotonin, a brain chemical that is believed to regulate mood. Designer pharmaceutical drugs commonly involve the inhibition or promotion of serotonin. For example, scientists in the Netherlands are reducing physical fear response using beta-blockers. The old ways of science sees genes as being unchangeable. Many scientific studies continue in this assumption because this thinking limits the options that must be considered by narrowing the field of consideration. Even so, the latest science in genetics based on the human genome indicates that genetics in the individual change based on a seemingly endless array of triggers based on physical and mental happenings in the physical world. The manipulated genes can accomplish the same tasks through the manipulation of serotonin and dopamine. They fail to fully account for spiritual dynamics involved as they focus on the physical world.
Based on spiritual laws as they are laid out in scripture, fear is a lack of trust through misunderstanding and ignorance. (Proverbs 2:1-6; 3:1-7; 21-27) Fear is centered through unbelief or lack of belief in the power of YHWH, the shed blood of Yahshua [Jesus] and the power of the Holy Spirit. In many cases, false evidence in the world appears real. Much of the fear that people choose to engage in is rooted in belief that is grounded in falsehood and deception, promoted by those that can take advantage of this cultivated fear. These “what-ifs” can rule your life, creating a stronghold of fear and bondage. It has been said that fear is in the mind of the beholder. The human body doesn’t distinguish between real or imagined fear.
“For YHWH hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7, RNKJV
Scripture tells disciples that fear does not come from your Heavenly Father. Without the Bible, deception is so great, it could be suggested that any truth is difficult to pinpoint or that truth is relative. This is a popular concept. Using the Bible as the source of authority does not resolve the conflict in the dark kingdom. Deception of the dark kingdom continues to spill over into the lives of all involved as we argue theology, dogma and religious standing. Instead, the truth is denied in the attempt to protect from shame, guilt and fear. Instead of owning up to the real danger, Christian leaders usually choose to hide the truth about the roots of spiritual bondage or fail to recognize the truth at all based on traditions, philosophy and religious decisions of the past.
“Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim. And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Messiah Yahshua” – Philippians 4:6-7, ISR98
Adrenaline courses through the human body creating all nature of physical and mental issues. Stress and anxiety are important tools of Satan and his kingdom. They attempt to subdue and maintain control. Many seek to escape anxieties by avoiding painful or compromising feelings. These addictions create a vicious circle of fear, anxiety and depression.
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of Elohim, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. ” – 1 Peter 5:6-7, WoY
“For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim” – Romans 8:13-16, ISR98
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love.” – 1 John 4:18, MKJV
“And it is YHWH who is going before you, He Himself is with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be discouraged.” – Deuteronomy 31:8, ISR98
Probably one of the best ways to consider how you stand in the world that you see today is this world seeks to run counter to YHWH’s spiritual laws while imposing its’ own laws. Your belief or trust in your Heavenly Father and your willingness to understand the spiritual world behind the world that you see is vital. (Romans 3:27) Realizing that two kingdoms exist that are opposed to one another and how you fit into this reality are no less important. (Romans 5:12; “Wisdom & the Battle of Two Kingdoms“; “Discernment 101: Learning to be Discerning“)
“For the law of the Spirit of life in the Messiah Yahshua [Jesus] hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” – Romans 8:2, WoY
You must also realize that what a man sows, he also reaps. (Galatians 6:7) The confusion of this reality grows to nightmarish proportions when you consider the free will of billions of human beings. Sin and imperfection are compounded, magnified by the agreement with man’s system, a system that is governed by dark spiritual forces. (Hebrews 13:6; Proverbs 3:5-7, 14:27) The spiritual warfare is real. Despite the reality of spiritual warfare, a trusting disciple of Yahshua [Jesus] that knows and lives scriptural principles first in life has no need to fear, just as scripture says. (Matthew 10:26-33; Acts 1:8; 1 John 4:4; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 18:2, 23:4, 56:3-4; “Overcoming Fear During Tough Times“; “Breakthrough Prayer; Fear“)
“For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah” – 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, ISR98
Fear only has the power that you give it. Prayer puts down a spirit of fear. When you praise YHWH, you put down fear. The decision of who you will trust is vital to your life, both now and in the future. This includes eternal life and abiding with Elohim through the Holy Spirit and the Word. (Matthew 10:1; Luke 1:16-17; 1 Corinthians 4:20; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Philippians 4:6; James 5:13; Ephesians 3:20; Romans 6:16; Psalm 91:1-16)
