It’s simple really. Millions of Elohim’s [YHWH] people are in pain or suffering from disease that don’t need to be. The law of the world doesn’t govern YHWH’s people, those that really trust Him. The “Set-Apart” Holy Spirit gives life abundantly, the opposite of the bondage that man has to offer. (Romans 7:21, 23, 8:1; John 16:7-14) This Spirit of Healing was sent by Yahshua [Jesus], which accomplishes what the old law covenant could never do. In the same way, you can be made free from the bondage that holds you in its grasp through strongholds of Satan. (Romans 7:5-11) Yes, Yahshua [Jesus] removed guilt from those that love Him, but being released from the bondage of sin is more than that. Those that dare to believe can be free. You already have the grace, the loving-kindness and mercy of YHWH. Your trust and obedience are what make it real for you. Staying free from the stumbling blocks of life is vital to that freedom. (Galatians 6:2; James 1:25; “Understanding Sin“; “YHWH’s Track of Righteousness“; “Discernment 101: Learning to be Discerning” )
The Holy Spirit is here for your good, not only as your Counselor, but as your Healer. (John 8:36) This is just as Yahshua [Jesus] promised before He left YHWH’s people to the Holy Spirit. (John 4:10,14, 6:63, 7:38-39; 1 Corinthians 15:45; “Holy Spirit 101“; “Listening to the Holy Spirit“)
“Not that we are competent in ourselves to reckon any matter as from ourselves, but our competence is from Elohim [YHWH], Who also made us competent as servants of a renewed covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.” – 2 Corinthians 3:5-6, ISR98
The works of the flesh profit a Christian in no way, something that every seeking disciple of the Messiah needs to come to realize in life. (2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 2:15-20, 5:19-21) This is hard to understand when you are trained to live by the world and its standards. Your thinking may be clouded by what you see and feel. (2 Peter 2:19) The freedom of the Messiah extends over your entire life. You are free from the institutions and teachings of men.
“You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.” – 1 Corinthians 7:23, NKJV
“Let no one deprive you of the prize, one who takes delight in false humility and worship of messengers, taking his stand on what he has not seen, puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the Body – nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments – grows with the growth of Elohim.
If, then, you died with Messiah from the elementary matters of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations: ‘Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle’ – which are all to perish with use – according to the commands and teachings of men? These indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed worship, humiliation and harsh treatment of the body – of no value at all, only for satisfaction of the flesh. ” – Colossians 2:18-23, ISR98
Disciples of the Messiah are to be free from repetitive sin, to serve YHWH in the Spirit. A genuine disciple of Messiah is under the One that loves us. (Romans 6:18; Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter. 2:16; 1 Corinthians 9:21; James 1:1-5, 2:12) The more that YHWH’s Word abides in you and that truth lives in you, the more free that you become. (John 8:31-36; Colossians 3:8-9; 1 Peter 1:14; 2 Peter 1:4) This frees you from the condemnation of the world. You also need to understand how the world and your behavior is tripping you up. Your lifestyle and attitudes are often key factors that hold you back. Understanding how sin works against you is the beginning of removing those stumbling blocks of iniquity. (“Is Your Forgiveness Real?“)
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in the Messiah Yahshua [Jesus], who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in the Messiah Yahshua hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” – Romans 8:1-5
This isn’t the new age stuff that the world promotes as spirituality. (Joel 3:10; Jeremiah 30:17; Deuteronomy 7:15; Matthew 10:1, 12:15, 14:14; Mark 16:15; Acts 10:37-37; Hebrews 4:16) Through learning to trust in the provision of YHWH properly, you begin to become a new man in Messiah. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:10; Titus 3:5) The world is full of many curses. (Deuteronomy 28:21-61; “Blind Leading the Blind“) As a new person in the Messiah through your trust in the provision of YHWH, you can experience dominion over illness and the strongholds of the past. (Luke 4:35, 39; John 10:10; James 1:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Revelation 21:3-4; Isaiah 40:31) In the meantime, remember this promise:
“No trial has overtaken you except such as is common to man, and Elohim [YHWH] is trustworthy, who shall not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able, but with the trial shall also make the way of escape, enabling you to bear it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13, ISR98
Your Heavenly Father is with you through all of life’s trials. He will enable you to endure. Your trust in Him is what is required.
