Are you behind schedule in your life? Are you behind on what you hoped to accomplish today? Modern culture and society is obsessed with managing time. Managing time has become a modern culture crisis, what you might consider a deficit crisis of sorts. Put another way, the deficit of culture seems to be the lack of time. Multitudes have allowed themselves into a scheduling crisis, chasing after the wind in a situation that can’t really be won. In modern life, the watchword is efficiency and efficiency is generally attached to productivity. The idea of saving time seems to be the answer. The latest illusion of productivity is the “smartphone,” which promises to save time while allowing us to have as much fun as possible, if that is possible. Americans and many other modern cultures have built a lifestyle around being busy. What we seem to be chasing nobody really knows. The US Declaration of Independence promises that we have the right to chase happiness, so that must be it. We’re chasing “happiness.”
Some wise men of science have suggested that we learn to “bend time” by changing our perspective of it instead of learning to say no to the ever increasing commandments that the “bosses of life” throw upon us. By doing things for others or giving things to others, we feel more important and in this way feel “time affluent. (#)” The reality is that millions don’t know how to set priorities or fear to do so. It has been suggested that marketers get on the band wagon with new commercials that allow you to feel surges of emotion. In this way, it is believed that through manipulation you will believe that you have more time on your hands, or at least, will feel better about the demands of your life. Surely this is another way to stress overload as the wise men of culture advertise their propaganda, with the idea that more productivity can be milked from the masses.
Ignored is the fact that devoting time to others tends to build relationships. In the case we’ve relayed to you, relationship is the bait and efficiency in relation to productivity is the switch, nothing more than an illusion of corporate thinking. Relationships are and always have been the bread and butter of human life. The corporate life of productivity ignores this truth, placing efficiency and profits ahead of people.
“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” – Colossians 3:2, NKJV
“For do I now persuade men, or Elohim? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I should not be a servant of Messiah.” – Galatians 1:10, ISR98
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” – Romans 8:5, NKJV
“I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.” – Romans 12:1-2, ISR98
In the same way, relationship with YHWH is the bread and butter of genuine Christians, disciples of the Most High. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:16; Matthew 6:24-33) To a disciple of Messiah, obedience to the Word of YHWH is the ultimate act of love, which can be accomplished only in relationship through the Set Apart Holy Spirit.
“But Yahshua said, ‘Permit little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’” – Matthew 19:14
While praying over the property of the faithful (children were considered as property in those days) was a Jewish tradition, Yahshua [Jesus] welcomed the children because they had the humility of obedience. They were willing to accept direction and believe in the power of prayer. (Luke 14:11; 1 Peter 5:6; Colossians 3:12; James 4:10; 2 Samuel 22:31; Proverbs 11:2; Galatians 5:19-21; Philippians 2:3-11; Revelation 12:12-15) This is the same kind of humility that YHWH is looking for in His people. He is looking for those willing to build a relationship with Him instead of following after a useless carnal lifestyle that so many professed Christians have readily adopted because they don’t understand the meaning of authority in their lives. (“Disciples of Messiah & the Authority of Man“; “The Bible & Higher Authority“; “The Role of Authority in Your Life“; “Authority: The Real Meaning of Romans 13“)
The reality for Christians is that disciples of the Most High can’t fob off personal trust and answerability to YHWH pn others, nor can a disciple employ others to do what he or she has been commissioned to do – what your heart must long to do. (Matthew 28:19-20; John 14:15; Acts 5:29; “Disciples of Messiah and Spiritual Fruit“)
“Therefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, set your expectation perfectly upon the favour that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yashua Messiah, as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance, instead, as the One who called you is set-apart, so you also should become set-apart in all behavior, because it has been written, ‘Be set-apart, for I am set-apart.’ And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear, knowing that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes” – 1 Peter 1:13-20, ISR98
While a correct response on the part of many more Christian disciples, in reaction to YHWH’s commission for all disciples of Messiah, would put plenty of pastors out of business indefinitely and shutter the doors of their churches, the truth is that the lack of knowledge regarding YHWH places many in terrible danger. (“Christianity: A Crisis in Prayer & Spirit“; “Foundation of a Global System of Greed“)
“My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.” – Hosea 4:6, ISR98
Forgetting and altering the commands of YHWH is exactly what so many in the old Jewish kingdom did. This is what multitudes of professed Christians are doing today, including those in professed leadership. Know that when you consider yourself a child of Father YHWH, understanding scriptural truth is important. (Matthew 18:4; Romans 8:16) Many pastors aren’t telling you the truth, but a homogenized version, another gospel. (Galatians 1:8; 2 Corinthians 11:4; Ephesians 4:14) Christianity in this day is a business, a tool of commerce. Billions are held captive in its grasp while YHWH, the Elohim of Hosts is misrepresented. In this age, all have been admonished to get out of Babylon. Babylon isn’t just religion, but anything that rebels against the Most High. The modern life culture crisis is part of Babylon, those that honor the corporate order more than the Word of YHWH. Getting out of Babylon is exactly what those that truly love or want to love the Elohim of Hosts need to do while there is still time. (Revelation 17:1-6, 18:1-8; Jeremiah 50:8, 51:45) Now is the time to set priorities!
