Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception

by John and Ruth Greene

jesus-teachingIn His time on earth, Yahshua [Jesus] offered many miracles and a message to His people, evidence that He was the Messiah the Jews had been seeking. Yet, the hard-hearted refused to open up their hearts and lives to receive Him. More miracles and expressions of trust for what was taught would not change their hearts. Miracles and teaching had no effect on their belief. The same is true today. (Matthew 12:38-40; Psalm 82:3; “Which Shepherd Do You Believe?“; “The False Shepherd & the True Shepherd“; “Do You See Miracles in your Life?“)

US Supreme CourtUnbelieving and fearful people look continually for a sign where their belief is concerned, often wherever a sign can be found. This behavior was no different in the time of Yahshua [Jesus] on earth. Yahshua [Jesus] maintained that a wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign. Those that seek a miraculous sign are likely to be sidelined by Satan, since Satan and his agents often act as angels of light. (John 8:44, 14:1; 2 Corinthians 11:14; 1 Peter 5:8; James 4:7) For example, in this day, the governance of the world is seeking to provide any means to bolster their authority. You will see this more and more in the immediate future as well. Miracles have been provided so that many worship at the altar of ‘science.’ Miracles of reason have been provided so that multitudes worship at the altar of ‘humanism.’ Miracles of provision have been provided so that nations worship at the altar of ‘law.’ Many have been and will be seduced by these and more. (Matthew 4:4; Proverbs 25:26; Ephesians 6:12; 1 Timothy 4:1; “The Role of Authority in your Life“; “Culture: Prompting Falsehood for the Lie“; “News: Hyperinflation & False Teaching“)

“Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim.” – Philippians 4:6, ISR98

attending churchIn the Christian world, a wicked generation (yes, even professed Christians) cannot see the truth with their closed minds and hearts because of doubt, lack of trust and grounding in fear. (2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:18; Proverbs 29:25; Isaiah 41:10) Their trust is in the world. Doubt and lack of trust is likely to be quickly followed by unbelief, especially when the pressure of the world is on. Many ask for some kind of proof or experience to scintillate and create an emotional high. This emotional high is mistakenly called faith by some. The truth is that most people from all walks of life are not sincerely seeking to know what Yahshua [Jesus] truly taught, about the real meaning of YHWH’s Word. They don’t have or desire to have a pure heart that is upright before YHWH, nor do they have or seek to have the action of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They would rather scintillate their flesh, do whatever comes naturally and listen to the world. (Colossians 2:8; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 5:18; “The Unpardonable Sin“; “Are You Rejecting YHWH’s Holy Spirit“; “Discipleship Is Renewal“)

signs of earthly heavensMany religious people live their lives by signs of the earth and stars, the mysteries of tradition from the past, calling these things miracles. Others claim the desire to believe: “If I could just see a real miracle I could really believe.” Others balk at the idea of miracles and signs, or that the earth could have been created. This is the self-centered secular-scientific mind of disbelief that multitudes of people possess today. The response of Yahshua [Jesus] was that the evidence of miracles was plentiful. His birth, death, resurrection, ascension and centuries of true work of genuine disciples around the world are material proof. The earthly sphere and universe that we call ‘nature’ is also proof, yet those that believe in ‘science-only’ prefer explanations like evolution. (“Mind Control of the Beast“; “Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“)

They prefer power over truth. They prefer their personal power. The failure to see the evidence of miracles in your own life and the failure to see evidence of miracles on this earth is proof of a terminal spiritual heart condition. People without hardened hearts recognize the reality of YHWH’s creation and the continuing power of His influence and authority. The rest ignore truth that they don’t care to see. Consider how you have you responded to the evidence and whether you have received the truth of your Heavenly Father. (“Building a Counterfeit Kingdom“)

evil vs goodSome professed Christians have taken this responsibility upon themselves. They hope and profess a ‘move of God’ in conjunction with prayer and rebuke against evil spirit forces without holy [sanctified, set apart] testimony and fruit emanating from a walk in the Way of the Messiah. One group that professes to be Christian even adds to the Word of YHWH by carrying ‘divine coins’ around the globe while offering incantations to the spirit world as they look for spiritual signs in ‘heavenly places.’ This insistence on looking for a sign cannot begin to accomplish the Father’s purpose in the world. As disciples of the Messiah, we have the authority to rebuke evil forces in our lives and have the authority to pray and change our lives and the world, but not to the exclusion of true ministry according to scripture. Disciples of the Messiah are required to willingly complete our spirits, putting on the new man of Messiah, while continually flushing out worldly attitudes. We are to follow the example of the apostles in the  time of Yahshua [Jesus], focused firmly on the life of our Savior. (“Abiding in Trust“; “A Mind of Envy & Competition“)

Is there any precedent for any Christian to spend much of their time rebuking evil powers and principalities on a corporate (through the church) basis without touching and affecting personal lives for Messiah? Anything outside of YHWH’s Will and power is not His Will and power, but a distortion and a distraction. Anything outside of YHWH’s Will and power is a distraction from the truth that sets genuine disciples of the Messiah free. Anything that distracts from YHWH’s Will and purpose is not from the Heavenly Father. It is from Satan, the father of lies. (John 8:44; “Victory in Spiritual Battle“; “Pursue Righteousness“)

ritual cleansing crumbling institutionsYahshua [Jesus] described the attitude of the nation of Israel and its religious leaders, as they rejected Him. They emphasized ritual and regulation, making that their salvation. The same thing happens in the religion of Christianity. Cleaning up your life with rules and regulations without filling your heart with the Holy Spirit of YHWH leaves plenty of room for the devil to enter and to play with your mind. The book of Ezra revealed how YHWH’s people in that day shed themselves of idolatry, but failed to replace their past idolatry with love for Father YHWH. They had religious legalism, ceremony and ritual, which proliferated into the time of first century Jerusalem. They turned YHWH into an object, failing to bear anything approaching the fruit of the new man. They trusted and depended on institutions rather than YHWH. Can you imagine Christians following the ways of the world, the lies of Satan, believing that they are actually ‘serving God’? Sadly, this is very common. (Hebrews 4:12; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 10:13; “Bible Truth: What is a Christian?“; “An Abomination that causes Desolation“)

holy spiritServing His purpose is doing what YHWH wants, believing scripture that you read while allowing for the Holy Spirit to impart understanding, as you involve yourself with sharing YHWH’s Word with others. Can you imagine yourself saying that you believe in ‘God’ and ‘Jesus Christ’, but don’t believe in your Counselor and Teacher, YHWH’s Holy Spirit? As disciples of Messiah and professed Christians stand before Yahshua [Jesus] in final judgment, they will not have an excuse for their lack of Him in their minds and hearts, especially when they continually deny the power of the Holy Spirit in their personal lives. The Holy Spirit helps disciples of the Messiah to understand scripture versus depending on a preacher that bellows half-truths about scripture. As a result of the latter, the Holy Spirit is often lacking or non-existent in the life of most professed Christians. (Matthew 7:1-29, 12:36-37; 23:13-15; 2 Peter 2:9; “Seeking A New Spirit“; “The Thread of Life in Messiah“)

bible-hug-internetYour first goal is to fill your life with YHWH’s Word, to replace the old man with the new one in Messiah. Ridding your life of the symptoms of sin is the next step of your trust. YHWH’s Word builds up. This action is taken one day at a time with personal commitment. The Holy Spirit gives real disciples of Messiah the strength, the wisdom that is needed to understand what is read and the desire to follow what is discovered and known through scripture. The heavens of man’s governance will soon be dissolved. (2 Peter 3:10) It’s time to wake up from your spiritual slumber. The time draws near for the Savior’s return. Will you be called to YHWH’s Kingdom when that time arrives? (Romans 2:5-12, 14:10-13; 1 Corinthians 4:5; 2 Corinthians 5:10; “Spiritual Disease That Eats at Your Salvation“; “Foundation of Salvation“; “The God of General Goodness?“)

“And we have known and believed the love that Elohim has for us. Elohim is love, and he who stays in love stays in Elohim, and Elohim in him. By this, love has been perfected [completed] with us, in order that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love. ” – 1 John 4:16-18, ISR98

“For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16, RNKJV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Messiah, your only begotten Son to be my Savior. I believe in Him and have made this belief the center of my life. Because of this, by faith I have everlasting life! Thank you! I repent of my sins and of my past, freely admitting that I have fallen short of Your glory. I look fully forward to you in my life and commit my life to You. Thank You YHWH, my Heavenly Father for setting me free in the name of your Son Yahshua [Jesus]. Amen.
genuine-articleYou will never enjoy true freedom through the Messiah and power of the Holy Spirit unless you read and absorb the Bible in prayer and trust. You will never know this freedom until you experience it for yourself. Get to know your Heavenly Father, His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, your Holy Counselor that lives in you to help you learn about the truth of YHWH and His spiritual gifts.
Satan does not want you to have the excellence of YHWH in your life. People pray for protection and want to be taken care of, but often do little in growing close to Him. The world, your husband, your wife, your family, your government do not build your trust in YHWH or free you from spiritual bondage. Your church or your pastor cannot save you. Education, power and money will not free you, but only the Word of your Heavenly Father. Salvation is a daily walk, an act of love for yourself and for those around you, not a one-time event that centers only on you. Make the Word of YHWH your own, your very life!
YHWH is Yahweh, the covenant name of your Heavenly Father.
The names Yahshua and Yahushua are original language names for Jesus,
He is often referred simply as the Messiah or Master.
