The Pharisees had religion and ritual. They weren’t the only ones. Most Christians today appear to have religion and ritual as well in this day, missing out on the best that the Father has to offer right now. Yahshua [Jesus] had compassion, laying out the law of love for His people, just as He expects for His followers. (Matthew 9:27-34; Galatians 5:14; 1 John 3:1, 5:3; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 10:4, 13:8-10) He was accused of blasphemy, befriending outcasts, impurity and serving Satan. Yahshua [Jesus] was maligned by people that should have received Him eagerly. Because He bypassed their religious authority, the Pharisees believed that Yahshua [Jesus] weakened their control over the Jews. Romans opposed any idea that appeared to question their authority in any way. The same reality is true today. In this moment of this age, more of those in power and authority have moved away from lip service to Christianity in general; finding themselves in opposition with a counterfeit system of belief. In this day, many Christians reject any Bible teaching beyond the most elementary in favor of science and modern thinking. They don’t knock on the door of truth, but look to man instead. (Matthew 5:7, 6:33; John 7:38; Acts 17:26-27; James 4:8; Hebrews 11:6, 13:15; Isaiah 55:6-7; Lamentations 3:25; Proverbs 8:17; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Deuteronomy 4:29; “Blind Leading the Blind“; “Leaven of the Pharisees, Leaven of the World“; “A Doctrine of Demons“)
“Do not condemn others in order that you aren’t condemned. Because of that judgment that you judge, you will be tried. Even by that measure that you measure is measured in return to you. Moreover, what kind of man sees the straw, one in the eye of his brother? Now, the timber in your own eye you do not consider. Or in what way will you speak to your brother: “Yield and expel the straw from your eye.” And behold the timber in your own eye! Hypocrite, first expel the timber from your own eye!
Do not yield the holy place to dogs, not even casting your pearls in front of the hogs, if perhaps you are trampled with their feet, even having turned back to break you. Ask and receive to yourself. Seek and find. Knock and open because all asking will seize it. Even one seeking will find, and to the one knocking will be opened.
Or what kind of man exists among you, a man which in the event that a son asks for bread, will not offer a stone to him? Even in the event that he asks for a fish will not offer him a serpent? If accordingly, you that exist for wickedness consider yielding beneficial gifts to your children, how much more will your Father, which is in the heavens, give beneficial things to the ones asking Him?
Every one of you certainly, as much as you want men to do to you, in this way even do to them, for this indeed is the Law and the Prophets. Enter through the narrow gate, for spread out is the gate and spacious the road leading to death into damnation, and many exist that enter through it.” – Matthew 7:1-14, direct translation
Clearly, the passage above is translated differently than you usually read it. It was translated in context without regard to the expected translation of a single verse. Read whatever version of Bible you choose. What the original language says is most important. What most human beings fail to recognize is that to judge others is to judge yourself, which can be a real source of personal condemnation. In essence, you make the ‘rules,’ based wholly on your attitudes and beliefs, about how you will be judged. How many of us experience the temptation to judge others close to us, as if we somehow see perfectly clearly? In effect, you tell the other person to remove the straw from their eye when you have a large timber in yours. You don’t offer to help them in any way. Instead, you simply judge them and tell them to get it right themselves. Instead of quick and harsh condemnation, YHWH admonishes disciples of the Messiah to effective brotherly love and forgiveness in personal relationships. Scripture advises disciples to remember that the road is spacious that leads (apago: lead or take off into death or punishment) to eternal destruction. When you are on that broad and spacious road, you are slated for eternal destruction through YHWH’s judgment. Yahshua [Jesus] said so, using a word that isn’t translated with its full importance in English. If you are interested, you NEED to be on YHWH’s track of righteousness, which goes through the narrow gate that Messiah mentioned. (“YHWH’s Track of Righteousness“; “The Struggle for Purity of Heart“; “Seeking a New Spirit“; “Spiritual Fruit & Renewing Your Mind“; “Culture: Prompting Falsehood Through the Lie“)
In this modern age of selfish interest, many have little hesitation or patience for anyone beyond themselves. Instead, the preferred method of generosity is giving a ‘stone’ (something of little value or of symbolic value) to others when ‘bread’ (something of importance or value) is needed, even to someone close. The authorities of man are full of this kind of ‘generosity’ in the effort to promote their influence. Your Holy Father does not insist that you give your holy sanctuary to dogs and hogs that would seek to trample and tear you apart, to those that have little regard for truth and exhibit this clearly. Bible truth is waste material (or a contrived convenience to their agenda) to these dogs and hogs. To these dogs and hogs, you are nothing in their arrogant eyes when you stand for the truth of YHWH. Look for those that you can help spiritually as the Holy Spirit leads you. In this day, many arrogant truth-haters have elevated themselves in authority and power. Always remember to look to YHWH Almighty as your source and not the dogs and hogs of the world [kosmos (Greek, G2889)], no matter what these creatures claim to hold over your head. (“The Bible & Higher Authority“; “Disciples of Messiah & the Authority of Man“; “The Road to Enslavement“)
Yahshua [Jesus] brought spiritual and physical healing to a world full of sickness through sin. (Matthew 10:8; Luke 4:18; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-16; Psalm 147:3) The world [kosmos], which includes true and accurate ‘Christian faith models’, rejects the healing of Bible truth for a worldly model of ‘faith.’ Since Messiah ascended into heaven, professed Christianity has experienced much influence and corruption from the world. Still, what scripture says rings clear and true when you are truly interested in what YHWH’s Word really says. When you have the counsel of the Holy Spirit, you are guided in your daily life. Demonic forces were and are especially active in this day, even though secular thinking that so many have adopted says otherwise. (Matthew 25:41; John 4:24, 8:44, 10:10, 14:6; James 4:7-8; 1 Peter 3:18, 5:8-9; Ephesians 6:12-13; 2 Corinthians 4:4, 10:4-5; Revelation 20:10; “Purity Starts Inside: A Lesson for the Ages“; “Healing Wounds That People Can’t See“; “Life Healing & Belief“)
“Cast off then all wickedness and all deceit, even hypocrisy and envy, and all evil speech. Like a newborn infant, crave the unadulterated milk of Divine Reason, that by it you can grow; even so, eating because it is useful to your Master. Move forward to the One you come near, a Stone living among men, as opposed to rejecting Him, but chosen and precious to Elohim. Even you are stones in the same manner, living to be a house builder, a family, a spiritual priesthood sacredly bearing a spiritual sacrifice, well received by the Father through Yahshua the Messiah.
On this account hold to the scripture: “discerning clearly to purpose on Zion (the hill of Jerusalem), the Chief Cornerstone, chosen and valued, even the trust of those that will not be shamed. You certainly honor those that believe, but those that disbelieve are a stone which these builders rejected. These came into being for the head of the corner, and a stone of offence, in which they stumble against the Word; unbelieving, to which they were purposed.
But you, a chosen offspring, a royal priesthood, a holy of holies, a nation of people into purchase; in the manner that you celebrate the valor of the One calling you from out of darkness into His marvelous Fire.” – 1 Peter 2:1-9, direct translation
As YHWH’s people, we are to cast off all wickedness, envy, hypocrisy and other deceit. What comes out of your mouth speaks volumes as to your current standing with YHWH, what resides in your heart. In the same way, your life at this moment is evidence of what you crave: the spirit of deception in the world [kosmos] or Elohim’s Spirit of Sanctification. Disciples crave the Word of YHWH. This is not for themselves, but because it is useful to YHWH’s Kingdom and His purpose to reach the hearts of others in the world while there is still time. This is proof of Divine Love that operates in YHWH’s servants through Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah. (“Is Your Forgiveness Real?“; “Freedom: The Law of Sin & Death“; “Healing: The Beginning of Love“)
In this way, disciples are the spiritual stuff of YHWH’s sanctuary among mankind, subject to Him. Better this than taking ‘the head of the corner’ – through attempting to be the head over Father YHWH. Peter used a clever illustration that is commonly missed. A fallen or rebellious ‘disciple’ in that day could be said to be taking authority over the corner of the prayer garment (a prayer closet that Jews wore in first century Judea). The rebels of this world [kosmos], religious and otherwise, make themselves their own gods or pretend to be ‘agents for God.’ True disciples of Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah are called from the darkness of the world into the Holy Fire of YHWH, in holy service through the Holy Spirit. Disciples of the Messiah are called to be separated from the world [kosmos]. (James 2:12; 1 Peter 2:21; 1 John 4:7-8; Hebrews 10:16; Romans 1:26-27; “Healing: What YHWH Wants for You“; “Do You Give Leftovers to the Messiah?“; “The Abomination That Causes Desolation“)
“I implore you accordingly brothers, through the compassion of the Almighty to exhibit your whole bodies as living sacrifices, sanctuaries fully agreeable to Elohim, your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to the pattern of this age, that is, be changed in the renewal of your understanding, in the proving of yourself; a kind of man that is beneficial and fully acceptable, and complete in the Will of Elohim.” – Romans 12:1-2, direct translation
The hogs, full of demons and their power, are slated to die with this world order [kosmos]. (Mark 5:13; Luke 8:33) The dogs, full of the fruit of this world, are slated for eternal destruction because of the corruption that they bear. Both are fully invested in man’s order of things. [kosmos] The good news is that you have a choice in the matter.
