What is the reality that John speaks about all true disciples of the Messiah?
“You have seen what love the Father has offered to us, with the purpose that we are to be called children of Elohim. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” – 1 John 3:1, P4T
The truth is that the world doesn’t know or understand the children of Elohim. Disciples are to be set apart to the Father and are to be as strangers to the world, set apart from the world. This is why being a disciple is not about modern ‘Christianity’ or ‘Christendom’ in general. The world is terrified of true disciples of Yahshua [Jesus]. The world doesn’t truly understand them. The leadership of the world often feels threatened by true disciples, so you have seen and will continue to see attempts to refashion them in a world image, which is already in abundance today. Disciples should expect to be regarded just as the Savior was. Yet, multitudes of professed Christians understand little or none of this truth. (1 Peter 2:11-12; Romans 12:1-2; “The Antichrist & War on Reality“; “A Disciple in Warfare“; “Shining Love Toward Others in Righteousness“; “Being Set Apart Makes You Aware of Sin“; “Spiritual Warfare: Genetics That Rule Your Life“; “The Invisible War“)
Our Father YHWH Elohim has offered us His love and provision. But do you accept His love? How do you respond? Have you obtained His love, the love that few agree to obtain?
“Enter in through the narrow gate. Because wide is the gate and spacious the road, put to death through destruction, and many, by their reason, agree to enter. For narrow is the gate and troublesome is the road, the one that leads to life, and few agree to obtain it.“ – Matthew 7:13-14, P4T
In those days, just as it is now, we have some questions of experience that can’t really be answered. Can all of our questions always be answered? No. Disciples don’t need to know every little detail about everything. That is what trust is about. We are to trust Elohim, which has cleansing power within each of us, as we stand clean through Yahshua [Jesus] and the Set Apart Ruach [‘Holy Spirit’]. This is the provision made for us, if only each of us will trust Him. (“Abomination That Causes Desolation“; “Loving the World & Rejecting the Messiah“; “Trusting in YHWH Instead of Princes“; “A Branch of the Vine Through Trust“; “Grace, His Protective Love & You“)
“Beloved, we are at present the children of Elohim. But it has not yet been revealed what we will be like, but know that when He is revealed, we will be like Him, because He will be seen just as He is. Then everyone that holds the same expectation within him is himself made clean, just as He is clean.” – 1 John 3:2-3, P4T
Knowing about sin and dealing with repetitive sin is part of the spiritual cleansing we need as disciples, as each of us decides to walk in the Ruach [Spirit] each day. Without question, disciples have been set right through the sacrifice of Yahshua [Jesus]. Living in the Ruach [Spirit] and being obedient to the Word is what continues to purify and cleanse the mind and heart of each disciple going into the future, as each of us prepare for His Final Revealing and Sovereignty. (“Understanding Sin“; “He Made the Way Around Sin“; “1 John 1:5-10 – Some Ideas on the Meaning of Sin“; “Replacing Sin and Becoming Set Apart“
“Everyone exercising sin also exercises unrighteousness, as sin is unrighteousness. But know in that He was revealed, so as to lift away sin from us, then in Him is no sin. Everyone remaining in Him does not sin. Everyone sinning has not seen Him, nor known Him. Beloved children, not anyone must deceive you. Exercising righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. The one exercising sin is of the devil, because the devil has missed the mark from the beginning, not sharing in the prize. To that same purpose the Son of Elohim was revealed, in order to loosen the deeds of the devil.” – 1 John 3:4-8, P4T
Disciples of Messiah must not be led astray or deceived. Repetitive, unrepentant sin is a problem that can lead to death. The battle is between two sovereignties fighting for each member of the human race, and the decision is personal to each member. The battle is between the established and purposed righteousness of YHWH and unrighteousness that is apart from Him. (Titus 2:14; 3 John 11; 1 John 2:29; “Deception of Ages: How People Are Deceived“; “Christians and the Dumbing Down of Sin“; “Wisdom & the Battle of Two Kingdoms“; “Disciple of the Messiah: Wavering Between Two Opinions“)
“Everyone regenerated by Elohim does not exercise sin, because His own seed continues in that one and that one is not able to sin, because of being regenerated by Elohim. In the same way the children of Elohim and the children of the devil are revealed. Anyone not exercising righteousness is not of Elohim, nor one that does not love his brother.” – 1 John 3:9-10, P4T
Being ‘born again’ or regenerated through the Set Apart Ruach [‘Holy Spirit’] convicts you of personal sin, so that you do not sin, and are unable to engage in repetitive sin against the Father and His provision for you. Scripture speaks loudly on this matter. Either you are a child of Elohim the Father or a child of the devil that opposes Him. The righteousness of Elohim is the measure rather than the measure of man. (“Leaders & the Antichrist Spirit of Wisdom“; “Junk Food & Your Spiritual Nutrition“; “Encouraging Disciples of Light in the Way“; “Supporting the Way or the World“)
“There exists a righteous Way, the Way renowned as the ‘Set Apart Way.’ The defiled do not pass through it. The perverse and deceived do not walk the Way.” – Isaiah 35:8, P4T
