“Bless YHWH, O my being, and all that is within me, bless His set-apart Name! Bless YHWH, O my being, and do not forget all His dealings, Who forgives all your crookednesses, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with kindness and compassion, Who satisfies your desire with the good, your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” – Psalms 103:1-5, ISR98
Could this be true? Most certainly. What receiving YHWH’s best for you DOES involve is that you seriously remove worldly deceptions, patterns and unbelief from your life! Your participation is directly involved. (“Filling Your Life with Truth Instead of Deception“; “What Is Washing By The Word?“)
The Bible says that YHWH loves you. I know He does because He sent His Son to come and die for all, that is everyone that will listen. While He was here on earth, He healed people of their disease and cast out demonic spirits. The disciples did this, the 70 in Acts did this and the first century disciples did this. After that, the teaching of scripture was diluted and corrupted as Christianity entered a dark age of ignorance and outright rebellion. This has persisted to this day, in line with Bible prophecy! (“Foundation of Salvation“; “Playing It Safe With Another Gospel“)
In the Bible, people have been raised from the dead, healed and more. Everyone that lives today has access to a better covenant through Yahshua [Jesus] Messiah.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” – 3 John 1:2, NKJV
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Messiah Yahshua for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, prove them all. Hold fast what is good. Keep back from every form of wickedness. And the Elohim of peace Himself set you completely apart, and your entire spirit, and being, and body – be preserved blameless at the coming of our Master Yahshua Messiah! He who calls you is trustworthy, who also shall do it.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24, ISR98
YHWH’s own people struggle with life, health and healing. Why? Very often because we don’t pray and believe it, don’t give thanks because complaining is easier, quench the Holy Spirit [Dedicated, Set Apart Spirit] with negative attitudes and unbelief, and fail to learn enough so that we have spiritual discernment. Even as you become a new man in Messiah, old attitudes and conditioned behaviors die hard, especially when you look at the wrong source in your life. Multitudes of YHWH’s people are deceived by the world around them and distracted by efforts to live in this world. So many live as baby Christians and carnal proclaimers of faith. (“Discernment: Having an Ear to Deeper Understanding“; “Discernment the World Doesn’t Have“; “Praying for the Sick“)
Because of our imperfection from Adam, sin continues to live within and tempt. The old man of corruption, as well as the world around you, tempts and pulls at you.
“For we know that the Torah is spiritual, but I am fleshly, having been sold under sin. For I do not know what I do. For I do not do the thing that I want; But I do the thing which I hate, this is what I do. But if I do what I do not wish to, I agree with the Torah, that it is good. Now then, it is not I who do it, but the sin which dominates in me. For I know that it does not fully dominate me, (that is in my flesh) but as far as good is concerned, the choice is easy for me to make, but to do it is difficult for me. For it is not the good that I desire to do, that I do. But it is the evil that I do not desire, that I do.
But if I do what I do not desire, it is no longer I who do it, but the sin which dominates me. I find therefore that the Torah agrees with my conscience, when I desire to do good, but evil is always near, distracting me. For I delight in the Torah of YAHWEH according to the inward man; but I see another law in my members having warred against the law of my mind, and taking me captive by the law of sin being in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from this mortal body? I thank YAHWEH through Yahshua Messiah our Master! So then I myself with the mind truly serve the Torah of YAHWEH and with the flesh the law of sin.” – Romans 7:14-25, HRB
At times, you and I feel pulled and torn, a condition that Paul describes as wretched. The Holy Spirit as Divine Counselor and personal discernment of the Word is our answer. (“Holy Spirit 101“; “Listening to the Holy Spirit“)
“My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from Elohim, who gives to all freely and with grace, and it will be given to him.” – James 1:2-5, HRB
When you separate yourself from Elohim, either through ignorance or rebellion, you place yourself at a distinct disadvantage. When you separate yourself from Elohim willfully or through ignorance, you aren’t fully sanctified through trust. Because of this, people easily reap the fruit of ignorance and rebellion. Disciples easily become double minded in a world full of confusion and rebellion. (“Opposing Fear“; “Agape: Discipleship is Renewal“; “Renewing Your Mind“)
YHWH, Elohim of Hosts is unable to favor your willful sin or my willful sin, and as a result, you and I will suffer more than if we were to abide fully in Him through active trust, effective prayer and living through the Holy Spirit. The fact is that separation from Elohim results in strife, sickness and disease in life. Separation results in ongoing deception, which is the largest obstacle that professed Christians face today! (Deuteronomy 24:16; 28:15-63; Exodus 20:5-6) In many cases, the sins of previous ancestors may try to “rain on you.” While you may not carry that sin intentionally, your personal epigenetics, as well as the example of your parents and their parents may predispose you to behavior and similar lifestyle attitudes. These curses and their potential are very real! (Ezekiel 18; Romans 5:12-19; 1 John 1:8-10; John 3:36; Acts 3:19; “Understanding Sin“)
The good news is there is plenty that you can do about this. You simply need to let the Good News of scripture change your heart. This will be evident over time in your lifestyle as you continue to learn and apply YHWH’s Word. This spiritual journey will continue to change your thinking and the fruit in your life through sanctification. As you progress, your life changes, your spirit heals and you begin to more fully reap the benefits of YHWH’s Word through the Holy Spirit. It’s that simple. (“Delusion & the Tightening Noose of the Beast System“)
The difficulty remains in rooting out the spirit of the old man, while keeping the hounds of the world out of your mind so that you can continue to be purified in faith and obedience. You don’t need to bear sin of the past or the sins of previous generations. You simply need to learn how to change your life through faith in Yahshua [Jesus] Messiah and by learning the importance of Elohim’s Word. This is applied through obedience and evidenced by spiritual fruit in your life.
Behavior and belief change the very fabric of your physical life through spiritual life and healing. This deliverance (salvation from the past) can begin right now, as you live today and in the future. (“Healing Your Life Resources“)
